The Auberge de Castille (Maltese: Berġa ta' Kastilja) is an auberge in Valletta, Malta, that now houses the Office of the Prime Minister of Malta. The auberge is located at Castille Place, close to Saint James Cavalier, the Malta Stock Exchange, and the Upper Barrakka Gardens. It sits at the highest point of Valletta and overlooks Floriana and the Grand Harbour area.
Built in the Baroque style under the magistracy of Manuel Pinto da Fonseca in the 1740s, it replaced a 1574 building erected to house knights of the Order of Saint John from the langue of Castile, León and Portugal.
The name Castille (or Kastilja in Maltese) is often used as a metonym to refer to the Prime Minister and his office, as the White House is used to refer to the Executive Office of the President of the United States.

My experience:
In the capital of Malta, Valletta, I stopped for three days, so the choice of the hotel treated thoroughly. When I first went to look for the hotel, I thought: What a merry house. I looked carefully - and that he is. Castille Hotel, Valletta Malta.
Location is excellent, close to the main gate of the walled city, surrounded by attractions, one restaurant on the ground floor, the other on the roof. This bed and breakfast is the same 40 euros per night.
The only drawback of the hotel - the bad vayfay. From my rooms were caught network of the 2nd floor, Network of the 3rd floor and network 4th floor. When they in turn cuts off, the feeling that a coffin on wheels rises on your floor :)
Breakfast is good. Cover it in a restaurant on the roof.
From the terrace which offers a wonderful view of the city and the bay.

Wile waiting for the Prime Minister of Malta myself and other Journalist's and Cameraman have noticed a bird inside Auberge de Castille which is the office of the prime minister.

L'Auberge abritait à l'origine la langue de Castille , León et le Portugal . Le bâtiment abrite actuellement les bureaux du Premier ministre de Malte .
Le bâtiment est situé dans Castille Square, près de Saint James Cavalier , la Bourse de Malte et les jardins d'Upper Barrakka . L'Auberge est située au point le plus élevé de La Valette et surplombe Floriana et la zone portuaire.
