FAQ's:
Q Where are you from?
A I am born in former Yugoslavia. Mom is Serbian, Dad is Bosnian. During the '90's war we came to the Netherlands and I got Dutch nationality. I've lived in Amsterdam for 8 years but lost my heart to India. Since 2018 I'm based in Bangalore. See this video for my refugee story:
Q How can you afford to travel so much?
A I saved for 3 years while working full time and now travel vlogging is my job. I work together with tourism agencies but also do some freelance work on the side. You can watch this video: and this one: to learn more about my story.
Q What camera do you film with and what editing software do you use?
A Canon G7X Mark II and Final Cut Pro X
Q (Why) Are you vegetarian?
A I'm vegetarian but not strict. I don't eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don't judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world :-)
Q Why do you usually travel alone?
A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own.
Q Why do you love India so much?
A Watch this video: and this one:
Q How do you work together with brands?
A Watch this video with the complete and honest truth about travel vlogging:
Auroville: The Indian Paradise of Human Unity (2010)

In 1968 the town of Auroville was founded for anyone, from anywhere in the world, to come and live. It promoted a sustainable and non material lifestyle, where property ownership wasn't allowed.
The Auroville township in South India is now home to 2000 people from all over the world. I am on the verge of a new perception of life, as if certain parts of the consciousness were mutating from the caterpillar state to the butterfly state... says Alfassa. The purpose was to realise human unity and it is today recognised as the first and only internationally endorsed experiment that is still ongoing in this field.

The history of the city of Pondicherry is recorded only after the arrival of Dutch, Portuguese, British and French colonialists. By contrast, nearby places such as Arikamedu, Ariyankuppam, Kakayanthoppe, Villianur and Bahur, which were colonised by the French East India Company over a period of time and which later became the union territory of Pondicherry, have recorded histories that predate the colonial period.

Auroville (City of Dawn) is an experimental township in Viluppuram district mostly in the state of Tamil Nadu, India with some parts in the Union Territory of Puducherry in South India.[1] It was founded in 1968 by Mirra Alfassa (known as the Mother) and designed by architect Roger Anger.[2][3][4] As stated in Alfassa's first public message in 1965

The Real Life Burning Man... (Auroville)
The biggest reason I came to India was to visit Auroville and make this video so you all can learn about this bizarre experimental community. It's like burning man on steroids.
I seriously cannot believe what I just experienced. A town of complete unity and togetherness, with 3,000+ residents who come from 57 countries around the world. A cashless society that has no religion, no laws and a 0% crime rate. A place where anything is possible, and encouraged, with the most laidback lifestyle I've ever seen.
This is the real life Burning Man... and it's been around since 1968!

After presenting a text of The Mother known A Dream, it recalls the origins of Auroville. Visit to AUROVILLE (What is it?) | India Travel
Today we visited Auroville which is an independent community just outside Pondicherry.
We went in with really no idea what the place was all about, and we were unsure how much we would be able to learn. We discovered that Auroville is an experimental community, founded in 1968, which aims to unite humanity regardless of race, religion or politics.
We visited one of the main sights, the Matrimandir (giant gold dome), and also visited Auroville beach.

It was founded in 1968 by Mirra Alfassa (known as the Mother) and designed by architect Roger Anger. As stated in Alfassa's first public message in 1965,
Auroville wants to be a universal town where men and women of all countries are able to live in peace and progressive harmony, above all creeds, all politics and all nationalities. The purpose of Auroville is to realize human unity.
Auroville (City of Dawn) has its origins in the French language, aurore meaning dawn and ville meaning city. Additionally, it is named after Sri Aurobindo (1872–1950).
A site, approximately 20 square kilometres of barren wasteland, some 10 km north of Pondicherry and 5 km from the coast was chosen for the city.

Sadhana Forest Auroville Guide With Complete Detail's in - HD (pondicherry)
HISTORY:-
Sadhana Forest is an international volunteer-based not-for-profit organization that aims to teach local citizens and volunteers about environmental renewal and sustainable living. In 2003, Yorit and Aviram Rozin started Sadhana Forest in Auroville, India. The project also targets reforestation and water conservation in two other rural locations: Anse-à-Pitres, Haiti, and Samburu, Kenya Sadhana Forest works as a long-term sustainable development project.
Focus
Sadhana Forest works to combat water shortages through water conservation, permaculture, and education. Sadhana Forest aims to plant indigenous tree species in zones that have been devastated by deforestation, which is commonly a result of increased urbanization, illegal logging, fires, and fuel wood harvesting.
Sadhana Forest recognizes the negative impact that increasing climate disasters and the depletion of natural resources have on communities. These disasters and the depletion of resources are oftentimes human-created and result in farmers losing their crops and families having to migrate from their land. Sadhana Forest works to address these issues through educating the thousands of local and international volunteers that they receive each year about sustainable living patterns.
Volunteers live in eco-huts and the community relies entirely on solar and wind energy. Other sustainable practices implemented in the community are vegan organic nutrition, recycling and waste minimization, biodegradable toiletries, composting toilets and a gray water system. Those wishing to volunteer at the Sadhana Forest are expected to follow the organization's guidelines. These include the site being a drug, alcohol, competition and a tobacco-free environment. These guidelines are in place to promote a healthy and cooperative community.
