Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park ???????? ???? NSW August 2019 ???????? Travel Vlog
Koalas, Kangaroos, Dingoes, OH MY!! It felt like an Outback adventure but in a safe and enclosed area, where you walk amongst the native wildlife plus ancient Aboriginal sites, all in one park! A short trip north of Sydney, it is a nice quick getaway for both tourists and locals alike. You can expect families (young and old), school field trips, and tourist groups visiting the park. And, explore all 80-acres at your own pace! It felt as advertised, as a wildlife sanctuary which makes you appreciate the friendliness of the roaming wildlife and the openness of the park. I thoroughly enjoyed our trip here!

Wildlife Conservation Journey 4 day tour Australia
Connect with nature on this four day, fully-inclusive small group journey into the wildlife-rich forests of southeast Australia's coastal wilderness. Visit magnificent stands of giant eucalypt forest, walk in rainforest, along untouched ocean beaches and beside secluded rivers and waterways in search of wallabies, koalas, goanna lizards, gliding possums, lyrebirds, parrots, black swans and many other birds.
Help conserve the beautiful places and wildlife you see. Your Wildlife Guide will teach you to find willdife, record them, and later submit your sightings to Australia's highly respected bird and mammal Atlases -- this task is easy, very enjoyable and essential for conserving our native animals. Monitor and record the behaviour of Koalas, using our special method of non-intrusive identification. Spend a little time on a glorious beach removing fishing nets that trap fish, birds and sea mammals.
Share this remote area with your experienced Wildlife Guide and each night return to the comforts of owner-operated lodge-style accommodation.

Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo - In the wild (HD)
Please enjoy some lovely footage from today, a Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo. This male was large and very healthy looking which was fantastic too witness.
The Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo (Dendrolagus lumholtzi) occurs in upland rainforest on the Atherton and Carbine Tablelands.
Up in the trees, they can hop along branches and leap spectacularly from branch to branch, tree to tree, and even onto the ground where they hop away like typical Kangaroos.
Kangaroos, Wallabies & Monotremes
Walkabout Australia is officially open, so hop to! Wallabies, cassowaries, marsupials, & monotremes. Come experience wonders from another hemisphere.

If art and science are going to meet head on, Kangaroo Island is the perfect place to be. We joined Peggy Rismiller and Mike McKelvey at Pelican Lagoon Research Centre for a day, to film an episode of Tourism Australia's National Landscapes Nature Series. Peggy has a stash of spines she keeps for artwork. Years ago, she had to hand-make transmitters to track echidnas through dense heathy vegetation and developed the hand-eye skills to bend and solder tiny wires. Today, transmitters are mass-produced, so Peggy's skills are transferred to her art. All over the house are exquisite examples of her jewellery, not to mention a museum's worth of artwork on the walls wherever you look.
