He drinks water from the delightful river of the Motherland and enjoys a new day.
After some time, young girls come to a riverside, Koroghlu who sees that, removes a shepherd who wants to watch them with interest from this place. Girls with water jugs approach the creek, and having filled them they supplement a scenery with beautiful dances. Persistent shepherd who wants to watch the ladies appears again. Also young boys appear who make him remark that it is shameless to spy on, and make him change his mind for a while. The shepherd starts an amusing cross-talk with those who condemn him. National celebration begins and everybody shows his skills.
Suddenly during the celebration Koroglu received bad news, and a wise leader directs intelligence men to conventional enemies to realize the current situation which people might be confronted with. (in those ancient times there were occasional battles between the Turkic tribes, common in everything but differ in a way of thinking).
After a long observation, the intelligence men report to their leader that war is inevitable. Koroglu is a brave man who loves his country, loves his people, supports him in all matters, always on the side of the oppressed against the oppressors, a supporter of peace, but he can make swords speaking where the words are finished.
He calls the army to battle and start preparatory actions. Soon both sides meet in a battle-field and the battle begins.
Brave people, one and all distinguished by courage, do not want to lose, an exciting battle scene comes to life, and the shepherd, who first turned out to be in a ridiculous position, became a serious warrior. In the toughest moment of the battle, Koroglu realized that both sides made a big mistake and the sons of one nation should not fight and stop the battle. He reconciles the Commanders-in-Chief of both armies. Despite the protesters, he prevents the battle, all weapons are removed by consent, peace and prosperity comes. Folk festivities continue under the guidance of Koroglu and all people perform Yalla dance.
