Baan Sillapin Artists Village is Hua Hin’s original arts centre, opened in 1998 on a 10-rai (approx. 4 acres or 1.6 hectare) site in the hills just to the West of central Hua Hin. It is the base for the Hua Hin Artists Group, and the residence of Hua Hin’s most famous artist, Tawee Kesa-ngam and other artists who are also members of his family.
Baan Sillapin includes large galleries of arts and antiques, artist studios, a coffee and gift shop, and classrooms for their very-popular classes in painting and sculpture. The facility is a frequent host of special exhibitions and performance events.
The landscaping , setting, and architecture at Baan Sillapin are truly lovely, and it is one of the nicest places to while away some time in the afternoon.
How to get there
Located on the “Pala-U” road (route 3218) approximately 4 kilometers from the center of Hua Hin.
Opening Hours : Tue – Sun 10:00 am. – 05:00 pm.

《華欣藝術村 Baan Sillapin》這是一個充滿藝術氣息的地方，說是藝術村不如說這是一個大型的藝術文化展覽空間吧！
這回2018年年底第二次再來，雖然是特地為我的YOUTUBE頻道拍影片，但內心感覺仍然是抱著來欣賞藝術的心態，因為這一次待更久，可以好好的欣賞一輪，然而走進裡面有很多工作室與展覽空間，幸運的時候還會遇到老師們(藝術家)正在裡面畫畫，裡面不只是看畫作，也有一些關於藝術品的販售，還有一些適合大人小朋友參加的繪畫課程，另外若想坐下來喝杯咖啡，這裡有咖啡廳可以坐著休息、餵餵湖畔上的魚鴨，每分秒都帶著一份愜意自然。

Awesome little spot in Hua Hin. Great local art. Some can be purchased. There is also a art session that you can take part in for a small fee. Cost is 40 baht per adult and 20 baht per child to enter the Artist village. There is a coffee shop and a restaurant so no need to leave for food.

Artist Village is one of the place you should visit in HuaHin
There are various arts and products, you may walk around to chill or you may buy if you like, there many nice sight for taking photos.
On the way for HuaHin to Bangkok, there are many place you can drop by.
We decide to drop by at Fly Now Outlet Mall, in the same area they have Food Court of Lemon Farm Supermarket, also their products selling, Daiso Shop.
Underground, there is the hall, showing modern painting and vintage cars, which is so surprise !!

We spent a good afternoon visit Baan Silapin at Klong Bang Luang neighborhood in the cool Thonburi area of Bangkok with many charming canals. The day we went the puppet show was canceled but we got a good time exploring and enjoying the bucolic and rustic scenary. If you have more time in Bangkok, a visit to Baan Silapin will give a nice break from all the hustle and bustle.
