La Paz, capital de Baja California Sur tiene mucho que ofrecer para todo aquel que la visita. Continua leyendo la descripción del video para que sepas qué puedes hacer ahí y cómo visitar la Isla Espíritu Santo.
-Qué hacer en La Paz
*Puedes dar un paseo por el malecón y disfrutar de un bello atardecer. La Paz, es conocida también como la Ciudad de los 365 atardeceres, así que descubre desde aquí por qué le llaman así. También puedes correr, patinar, andar en bici a lo largo del corredor y pasar un rato agradable.
*Conoce su kiosco, aunque es pequeño es muy bonito y desde ahí puedes ver gran parte del mar de Cortés.
*Visita el Museo de la Ballena y las Ciencias del Mar antes de hacer cualquier tour por el mar para que conozcas la fauna marina que habita en Baja California Sur.
Tiene un costo de $160 pesos por adulto y $120 niños y adultos mayores.
*Recorre las playas más cercanas a la Paz como: Playa Coromuel, La Concha, Caimancito, El Tesoro, Pichilingue, Balandra y Tecolote. Hay muchas más pero esas son las que nosotros conocimos y todas son maravillosas.

También incluye la comida que está deliciosa, visita a la Isla de los Pájaros, pasar por un Arco creado por la erosión del agua y se recomienda para chicos y grandes. We went to La Paz via a bus from Pichilingue cruise port, and then explored the surrounding area near the Tourist Bus Terminal in March of 2016 as part of our 2016 Mexico Cruise aboard the Ruby Princess cruise ship.

El Malecón De La Paz, Baja California Sur, México

A lo largo de la costa de La Paz, Baja California Sur, México, se encuentra un Malecón de 5 kilómetros de largo. Su propósito principal es agilizar el traslado a través de la ciudad. Sin embargo, pronto se convirtió en un punto de interés de actividades relacionadas al turismo con un gran número de bares, restaurantes y tiendas. Desde el 2004, se han implementado extensos desarrollos los cuales incluyen una amplia banqueta, la cual brinda seguridad a muchos peatones que disfrutan de caminar a lo largo de la Bahía de La Paz.
En Septiembre del 2011, se implementó al Malecón una ciclo-vía, brindándo protección a los ciclistas de los automóviles y peatones.
ENGLISH:
Running along the coast of La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico is a 5-km long Malecon (boardwalk). The main purpose of this road is to allow easy movement across the city. However, it quickly became the focal point of tourist related activities with a large number of bars, restaurants and shops opening along its length. Since 2004 extensive development has taken place which included a large sidewalk which offers safety for large numbers of people to walk along the coastal front of La Paz.
In September 2011, a bicycle lane was added to the Malecon road, providing cyclists protection from cars and pedestrians.

While we were in La Paz, everyone told us we HAD to go on a tour of Espiritu Santo, the nearby island. It was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen and we even got to swim with sea lions!

Nos vinimos a pasear a La Paz, Baja California, Mexico. Para llegar acá tomamos la autopista de Los Cabos, la que nos llevaba al municipio de La Paz. De camino nos topamos con el pueblito mágico de Todos Santos donde está ubicado el emblemático y famoso Hotel California de Baja California Mexico.
Nosotros llegamos hasta San José del Cabo, BCS por medio de un paquete con Expedia.com.
Conseguimos boleto de avión con Interjet (ida y vuelta) y hospedaje las 5 noches con todo incluido.
En La Paz se puede caminar y conocer el Malecón donde están ubicadas las esculturas de varios artistas.
En playa Balandra se pasa un rato increíble. Un sitio hermoso para conocer y disfrutar de la maravilla de la naturaleza. Apto para caminar y refrescarse mientras pasean.
En Todos Santos, caminar por las calles pintorescas y entrar al Hotel California. Recomendado pedir un Margarita de Tamarindo, súper bueno.

La Paz Mexico - Baja California Sur Overlanding | Ep 16 | Baja California Overland Adventure
This is episode 16 La Paz Mexico - Baja California Sur Overlanding of my new series from 2017 Xmass trip called: Baja California Overland Adventures
On day 16 of this Baja California road trip, having previously travel to La Paz Baja California Sur Mexico the night before, we woke up to the day of saying good byes. Bred and Bratt would proceed further to Cabo San Lucas and rent a house for over a month, where as I had to start returning back to Canada. Estimating it would take me 5 days to get through mexico while not doing huge distance pushes and then big 2 day push thought USA to Canada.
La Paz is not a big city and is quite charming with good prices on everything compared to Cabo San Lucas. From La Paz travel up to north east to hit some of the nicest beaches in the area, and there are a lot of them, free or payed to stay over night. One of them being famous Balandra La Paz beach.
I've traveled about 4 hours north west trying to hit Baja 1000 route along the pacific ocean side the next day. Having arrived at perfect golden hour sunset at some sort of fishing boats spot with a light house, I called that place home for the night enjoying the slow sunset views. I wish I would have more time to fish in the river near by the next day but return to Canada can't wait.
Overlanding mexico in general means hitting dirt roads when you least expect them. One moment you are driving on highway that can suddenly turn into unpaved highway, and your Baja overland trip may just suddently become spontaneously more fun. The next day of trying to do portions of Baja 1000 would prove to be very unpredictable and full of confusion and suprises.

The BEST Beach in the WORLD? (Playa Ensenada Isla Espirítu Santo, La Paz)
Welcome to the most beautiful beach in Mexico- Playa Ensenada on Isla Espirítu in La Paz Baja California Sur! The Isla Espirítu area is protected as part of the Área de Protección de Flora y Fauna - Islas del Golfo de California and is an important eco-tourism destination. It was declared part of a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1995. Ensenada Grande beach, on Isla Partida, was voted the most beautiful beach in Mexico by The Travel Magazine.
How did we get to Isla Espirítu? We used a local tour company called Punta Baja. We were not working in collaboration with Punta Baja- but we would highly recommend them. They had great prices and excellent service.

La Paz is a medium sized city in Baja California Sur, Mexico. It isn't the most well know holiday destination in Mexico, nevertheless there is some good reasons to go and spend your next vacation here. Especially if you are into scuba diving and snorkeling.
