Exploring Baja California, Mexico
Baja California was somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit, filmmaker Joshua Cowan says. The sliver of land that stretches 775 miles along the western coast of Mexico is chock full of secluded spots that would be country-wide highlights anyplace else. Cowan hung out in hot springs, surfed on deserted, world-class beaches, went fishing in the bright blue waters off the coast, and trekked the peninsula's jungles.
The jagged coastlines, the staggering landscapes, and the breathtaking sunsets are a sight to behold. Fortunately enough, Cowan brought along his camera.

Top 5 Cities in Baja California Norte | Tijuana, Tecate, Ensenada, Rosarito & Mexicali
We've spent a ton of time in Baja California since we live in San Diego, which is right across the border. To wrap up some of our favorite places to visit, we thought we'd make a roundup video on our top 5 favorite cities in Baja California Norte. These are in NO particular order, and we've linked to the blog posts below if you want to learn more details :)
1. Tijuana: This is one of Baja California's funnest cities to visit, including the El Vergel waterpark which is home to the FAMOUS Slip N Fly waterslide.
2. Tecate: We were surprised at how much we love this charming town. Check out the Tecate Brewery and Miguel Hidalgo for fun things to do, and grab a margarita on the beautiful patio at Meson TKT.
3. Ensenada: One of Baja California's most diverse cities, check out the street food scene or go wine tasting in Valle de Guadalupe.
4. Rosarito: This is the perfect beach getaway that also has some of the best tacos ever from Tacos El Yacqui.
5. Mexicali: This border city has some of the best Chinese food outside of China!
Thanks so much for watching! Don’t forget to like and subscribe :)

ENSENADA, MEXICO | Best Things To Do in this Baja California Gem
We absolutely LOVE Ensenada, Mexico...there's no denying it. On our latest trip, we spent the day exploring all the amazing things to do in this Baja California gem. And while we did some pretty great things, our favorite thing by far was our morning visit to the beautiful Tara Garden. It was so peaceful and serene, and the 20 foot statue was so colorful and amazing to look at.
Here's the full list of everything we did in Ensenada:
-Visit the Tara Garden
-Brunch at Hacienda San Angel
-Explore the Rivera of Ensenada
-Take a stroll along the riverwalk
- Visit a fish market
- Margaritas at Hussong's Cantina, the birthplace of the margarita!

Day in the Life of San Felipe Mexico & I Was Very Sick
After traveling to San Felipe Mexico in Baja California on the west side of the Gulf of California I'm showing you what day in the life of Mexico looks like from laundry, eating out, walking the streets of San Felipe, relaxing on the beach, visiting the Valle de los Gigantes, or Valley of the Giants just south of San Felipe. I also got very sick the first night I was there. It was pretty awful. Norovirus? Stomach flu? Montezuma's Revenge?
I enjoyed every minute of my Mexico travel in my camper van and can't wait to go back and visit more along the Baja Peninsula!

★ How I Got Started
Hi, I'm Amber and in May 2017 I started this nomadic journey after selling my house and all my belongings to pursue this crazy dream of living out of my RV full-time and traveling all around North America.
After 1 year of traveling, I sold my 26 foot Winnebago Class C RV for a more nimble Class B Hymer Aktiv van. I couldn't have been more excited to continue my second year in a van that allows me to travel to more places and experience more in life.
