The road is climbing steepy upheel and my ears poped-up few times during this climbing... It is very narrow there without shoulders and if you drive big rig on it you must be very careful. Only one step in a wrong direction can be vital. Full version of this episode included in this video starting from 45:15

Join us as we visit the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. Located on top of Flagstaff Hill, along the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway, 9 miles east of Baker City, Oregon, the Interpretive Center should be on everyone's list to visit.
The Interpretive Center and the trails around it help every visitor gain an appreciation for this important chapter in North American history, the pioneer spirit, and this local highway, the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway.
Wallowas, Mt Joseph, Lake Wallowa and Joseph city, Oregon
Wallowas, one of Oregon’s 7 wonders.
America West: Hell's Canyon Scenic Loop Drive, Oregon
The Hells Canyon Scenic Byway is a 218-mile loop encircling the Wallowa Mountains, intersecting with Interstate 84 at La Grande and Baker City. Extremes in the land define this Byway and have likewise shaped the region's cultural history. At the eastern edge of the Byway is the Hells Canyon stretch of the Snake River, North America's deepest gorge. It boasts hair-raising rapids, awesome rock formations, and many signs of the indigenous peoples that once called this vast area home.
At the core of the Byway are the Wallowa Mountains whose jagged, snowcapped peaks are reminiscent of the Swiss Alps. Millions of years ago, the Wallowas formed the coast of present-day Oregon. Flows of plateau basalt, batholiths of granite, and layers of shale were buckled and folded to form the mountain range we experience today.
South and west of the Wallowas, the bountiful Grande Ronde Valley unfolds. Once a spring and summer gathering place for members of the Umatilla, Yakima, Shoshone, Walla Walla, Cayuse and Bannock Nations, the valley is now a rich agricultural center, hosting fields of hay, wheat, grass, mint, and canola as well as cattle, sheep, and horse farms.
The Hells Canyon Scenic Byway winds through the northeast corner of Oregon, taking in the craggy 8,000 foot depths of Hells Canyon and the 10,000 foot peaks of the Wallowa Mountains. Along the way, one will encounter exceptionally scenic country and fascinating cultural history in the ancestral homelands of Chief Joseph and the Nez Perce Indians.
Hells Canyon Overlook ... The paved overlook, a short drive on Forest Road 3965, which rests at 5,400 feet, provides outstanding views of McGraw Creek, Hells Canyon, and the Seven Devils Mountains which stand at the Idaho border. The Overlook features interpretive displays about the canyon formation.

Abandoned Places in Washington State by BARE USA
| @briancattelle
Join me as I explore some bad ass abandoned places in Washington State.
Our first stop is an abandonment on Seattle's Harbor Island near the Fisher Mill ( not the Fisher Mill). This place was small but full and covered in awesome graffiti.
Then we visit the Northern State Hospital Farm in Sedro Woolley. It's only the farm portions that are left but when I visited there was plenty to still explore.
Last but absolutely not least we visit a place known as the Devils Tower. This place was awesome, covered in moss and graffiti it was easy to spend an entire day there. Right next to it was an ice cold like with snow-capped Mt Baker in the backdrop.
I decided to do the photoshoot at the Devils tower with the beautiful and talented Magie Gray! It was amazing.
I forgot my go pro at the lake never to be seen again but I took plenty of photos, so this is more of a Ken Burns style video of the photos I took.
Skip to the parts you want to see by clicking on the timecode below.

How to get lost in 3 or 4 minutes.....Douglas Cabin Trail #470
This trail is great for the first 300 feet , then it gets bad, and then it gets worse. The sign said Sunrise Spring 1/2 mile What if I was out of water and wanted to hike to that spring. It's like a big mouse trap for humans.
Watch for the red paint blaze marks on the trees that's the only way to know there is a trail. The sign is tattered, but leads a person to believe there is a trail. This area is extremely remote. If you get lost here it could be fatal. This is near Flag Point Lookout Tower in the Mt Hood National Forest. Barlow Ranger District.
