Bamboo Rafting in Yangshuo, China
After cycling through villages and along the river, we put the bikes on a raft and floated back to where we started.
Yangshuo Bamboo Rafting Festival
Last weekend was the first of what will be an annual Bamboo Rafting festival on the Yulong River to celebrate Chinese Valentines day. A major part of the festival was a traditional Chinese wedding where the bride was played by one of Omeida's very own students. The event also included the world's longest dragon boat and a waterfight on the bamboo rafts. The event was a great success enjoyed by all on a beautiful summers day. We look forward to being involved again next year!

Welcome to our page. Thanks for checking us out!
The top two items of any list describing the best things to do in Yangshuo are always biking along the country side river paths and the 10 mile gallery...and taking a bamboo raft down the Yulong River! So we did exactly that. We explored the country side by both electric bike and bicycle, and took the classic river bamboo raft down a 2 hour section of the river! Deff recommend both things to anyone coming to the area!

4K Bamboo Rafting at Yulong River, Yangshuo 2018
This is a time lapse and actual video footages of the 90 minutes bamboo rafting ride on the Yulong River at Yangshuo, Guangxi of China. The scenery is remarkable and beautiful. There is option of a 45 minutes ride, but I rather pick the longer ride since your raft will own the river and having one of the life time experience of being in the lonely planet.
Yangshuo bamboo rafting
Check out the famous Karst Hills from the Yu Long River on a bamboo raft! Every visitor to Yangshuo has to try rafting, which can easily be combined with cycling tours. Remember to always haggle about prices, offer about half of the asking price and enjoy the feeling when you step onto the raft with your bike and take in the breathtaking scenery around you. It promises to be an exciting trip, what with the frothing waters and with sudden turns you can feel to the pit of your stomach. 16.10.2006. More travel tips at gbtimes.com.
Solo Travel, Bamboo Rafting in Guilin, Yangshuo, China
Guilin YangShuo China is a place out of a painting...
I went there during the offseason when there isn't a lot of tourists.
Such a joy to immerse oneself in a slow-paced and picturesque view that is filled with lush greens and the extraordinary landscapes.
thanks for watching until the next one~see you all soon
Dont Miss Bamboo Rafting Down the Yulong River Yangshuo, China
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that every tourist who visits Yangshuo, goes bamboo rafting on the Yulong River. There are different access points for rafting depending on how long you want to spend on the river.
Many tourists make a day of it; rafting, getting off at one of the stationary rafts to get photographs taken while rafting; stopping at a floating restaurant for a beer or food; or eating brought with picnic lunches.
The Yulong River was very low when we rafted and boatmen had to get off at different rapids to push the raft over. It was hokey, at times felt like the Small World ride at Disney when rafts lined up at the rapids, but still, so much fun!
Bamboo Rafting Yulong River | Bike Asia | Yangshuo | Backpacking China
Yangshuo is by far my favourite place in China! We had so much fun in our short time there but it is definitely on the list to go back!
Our tour with Bike Asia was paid for by us, this is not a sponsored video. We genuinely had an amazing day and I couldn't recommend them enough!

Yulong River Bamboo Rafting - Travel Yangshuo China
It was peaceful and quiet as heaven, only the sound of the birds and the water being padded away. The riverbanks were adorned with green lush hills, bamboo groves and small villages, along with emerald silky water flowed in the middle, altogether giving off an air of serenity. It was like an invisible window of wonderland opened right in front of me and I was amazed at this marvelous scenery. I felt so relaxed and completely soaked up in this idyllic atmosphere.
