It said caretaker prime minister Pedro Sánchez was meeting with other national political leaders and “he doesn’t rule out any scenario.”

Barcelona El Prat Airport - What Really Happened. The Most Serious Violence So Far
Barcelona city centre was relatively subdued Monday. Roads blocked by sit down protests of small number, yet a huge amount of walking protests with little sense of understanding dotted the streets. Large police presence across the whole city. Helicopters in the sky. Most Catalan businesses remaining closed. Tourist centers and international stores uneffected. As 6pm and night drew in, large storms hit the catalunya region to match the cities mood. A sense that on the whole even those who were pro Spain had now shifted alliances. As Tuesday began; a large lightning show began to match the cities mood. Around 2am a short powercut stuck parts of central Barcelona city. Tuesday morning starts calm with most commerce trading. #barcelona #bcn #latestnews #realnews #breakingnews #protect #policeviolence #BarcelonaEnLlamas #tsumanidemocratic

Tens of thousands rally in Barcelona for Spanish unity
(29 Oct 2017) Tens of thousands who want Catalonia to remain part of Spain rallied in downtown Barcelona on Sunday, two days after a separatist majority in Catalonia's parliament exacerbated a political crisis by voting for the wealthy region to secede.
Organizers say the march's goal is to defend Spain's unity and reject an unprecedented attack in the history of democracy.
Leaders of rival pro-union parties from the ruling conservatives, the pro-business liberals and the socialists have joined together under the slogan We are all Catalonia. Common sense for coexistence!
Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy has also dissolved Catalonia's parliament and called a regional election for December 21.
Demonstrators are chanting Now yes, we are going to vote! and applauding every time a national police helicopter flies over the crowd. This is our police! they chanted.

(more)
