Visit to Barleywood Walled Kitchen Garden 12th August 2017

Me and the missus went on a day out to Wrington in Somerset to a place called Barleywood, which is about 20 miles South of Bristol. There is a kitchen garden, walled, with a restaurant inside. The garden is free, the restaurant a little expensive, but your wallet may stretch to it. If it does, as she says: it's appeared in the Guardian.

The garden has traditional glasshouses, high brick walls, espalliered fruit trees, box hedges, herbaceous borders, bee hives, apple orchard and rows of veetables and herbs. I love the place.
