Bathurst champions use Australia’s elite sports HQ to prepare for this year’s Great Race
Defending two-time Bathurst champions, and V8 Supercars points leaders, Prodrive Racing Australia are leaving no stone unturned in its chase for victory at Mount Panorama next month.
The team’s three leading drivers Mark Winterbottom, Chaz Mostert and David Reynolds have been given the full treatment by the AIS in Canberra to find what could prove a vital edge at The Great Race.

Mushroom foraging in Oberon, NSW
Mushroom foraging in Oberon said the teen, I'm not some kind of hippy mum. But she needn't have worried. Autumn time in the forests t'other side of the Blue Mountains is a family-friendly, recreational and positively normal experience and one which I reckon you should all give a go at least once every year.
“Going out” for dinner has a whole new meaning in the State Forests around Oberon in New South Wales. Swing by Tourist Info, grab a bucket and a map and head to the pine trees where foraging in the undergrowth will quickly reveal one of Australia’s most prolific wild mushroom growing areas. Did I mention mushrooms. Mushroooooms. Yum yummy.
Take ‘em home, peel and clean and mix in with a risotto for not only the tastiest but the most satisfyingly self-sourced (and free) meal known to teen kind. Learn how to distinguish from your slippery jacks and saffron milk cups and you'll be ppppicking in no time.
A great fun thing to do to get the teens away from screens this weekend.
