My first trip to Beast Rampz skatepark in Manchester. I have been looking at the layout for awhile now and couldn't wait to go and give it a try. I went with 2 aims:
1. Ollie the hip

Not both went to plan, but there is always next time. It gives me something to aim for and an excuse to go back very soon.

This is a promotional video filmed by Flyka.tv showcasing Projekts MCR Pumpcage Skatepark. The first section of this film is shot off the Flyka tracking vehicle & allowed us to drive between bollards & through gaps that other tracking systems would not be able to do, as well as no rest time required for crew & camera operator, due to the ease in which we can reset.
The camera operator also steps off the vehicle & is able to seamlessly follow the skaters into the park, so you get a stunning one shot before we move to cuts inside the skate park.

Davey Wall has been shredding BMX for over ten years, he has never had an edit until now! We filmed this over a few weeks, it was easy as Dave's super consistent. In the editing I've tried to focus on a 'rock n' roll' theme and using colour correction. Feedback is appreciated!

Projekts MCR has run the Mancunian Way Skatepark since 2004 and developed it into one of the most vibrant community-led skateparks in the country. We have established a city-wide schools programme to help to give as many young people as possible to opportunity to learn to skateboard in a safe, encouraging environment.
Projekts MCR has also helped hundreds of females to access skateboarding and since 2012 we have grown female attendance from less than 1% to over 25%.
The success of our coaching has led to a much higher demand for skateboarding and so we need to expand our capacity. Our aim is to raise £600,000 through a combination of grants and public investment to create an ideal environment to skateboard by creating 700sqm of new concrete skate surfaces, increasing cafe capacity, and creating an amazing viewing platform for spectators to watch the activities in a safe way.
We have set a minimum fundraising target of £50,000 and a maximum target of £200,000. This fundraising campaign has been awarded match funding, so every pound invested is doubled!
Our project is also eligible for Social Investment Tax Relief, which means investors can deduct 30% of their investment from their income tax!
We are also offering 4% interest on investments after the third year and every year for the length of the investment.
Projekts MCR has been running the skatepark for 14 years and this growth will only make us stronger, so please consider joining the community and become joint owners in Projekts Skatepark and the future of skateboarding growth in Manchester.
