WINTER SOLO TRAVEL GUIDE IN ISTANBUL, TURKEY
This was my first real winter solo travel and it happened to be in Turkey.
For any of you who are following my travel journeys, I first backpacked in South East Asia and Brazil for almost a year together with my partner, please refer to roadscarz YouTube channel.
After resting for almost a year working (back in the office), I then decided to have my 1st ever Solo Backpacking in Turkey. Spent 2 weeks in Turkey's amazing country!
Although this travel Vlog is only covering Istanbul, Turkey, - where I spent my first 4days since 22nd Dec 2017 to 25 Dec 2017.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We've had a blast in Turkey, what a cool country to explore! Sad that today we travel on from Istanbul, but pleased we can go via the New Istanbul Airport known as Istanbul Havalimani airport. This is now known as the worlds largest airport as of April 2019, at least it is intended to be the biggest airport in the world as the years pass and more travel comes via the new airport with the various extensions.

As of now, Istanbul Havalimani airport can handle 90 million travel passengers a year which doesn't actually make it the current biggest airport in the world. It will officially claim the title of the largest airport in the world once it continues to expand, the goal is 200 million passengers a year - which is almost 100 million more than the current largest.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
