This beautiful park is located in Goulburn's historic CBD. It was named 'Belmore Park' when Lady Belmore planted the English Oak tree in the centre of the park to commemorate the official opening of the first steam railway in Australia. This Belmore Park mirrors the Belmore Park outside Central Station in Sydney, each marking an end of the Great Southern Railway line.

During my travels (and a hiatus), I've been testing out the 4K recording function on my iPad Pro and recently I dropped by Goulburn and shot some footage.
This is Belmore Park in Goulburn on the first day of spring.
Belmore Park
Belmore Park is bounded by Auburn, Montague, Sloane and Market Streets in Goulburn, NSW. It is a place that chronicles some of the early history of the city. The park was named after Lord and Lady Belmore who visited Goulburn in 1869 to mark the opening of the railway line. They planted a tree which still stands. The historic courthouse is on the southern side of the park and other historic buildings including the Fireside Inn can be seen in Market Street on the northern side of the park. These images were taken in August 2019.

Built by Dorfus and the crew from Convic, it's the best skate park in the region. Skateboard.com gives it a 5 star rating and writes heaps of nice transitioned sections including over vert nodule, fair few rails, ledges and banks.

Please help our Homeless - Wentworth and Belmore Park Sydney
We are supporting the Homeless Community of People living in tents under the tram line at Wentworth Park, Glebe. The community includes people who have mental health issues, depression, serious health issues, elderly, Indigenous, Youth and people with little or no English.
The City of Sydney has given notices to the Wentworth Park Community 6 February notfying them that all they are allowed to have is a swag (sleeping bag) and 2 other bags. All other items will be taken away (including their tents/home) against their will.
Sydney City Council has decided to take away what little decency and comfort and security they have built as a Homeless Community and try to move them back to living rough on a pavement or in an alley somewhere. They are not offering help with decent accommodation.

Made it to GOULBURN New South Wales
Episode 27 of the Aussie tour we are leaving the mountain while lots or heaps of snow is falling down!
We arrive in Goulburn and get an amazing tour of the prison although I couldnt take the camera in, it was a different experience.
