Does This Underground Lake Really Exist? | A Bribe Taken!! | Bozeman Montana
We needed to give the kids a break from hiking and the National parks. So we spent some time in Bozeman MT. Instead of hiking, we found a lot of water related activities. The Madison River was perfect for a float and we couldn’t have stayed closer to the Bozeman Hot-springs, which was a real hit with the kids. I think they could have stayed there all day everyday. But since there was no child care or kid programs, we couldn’t just leave them there unattended like they wanted.
Kendyll loves caves. The Lewis and Clark Caverns are not far from Bozeman, so we took a side trip and we were not disappointed. The limestone formations are incredible and Kendyll?, well, check out the video and hear in her own words what she thought AND her favorite parts!!
A little about us… Amy and I are the kind of parents that will occasionally bribe our kids to be good. We found a great candy store called ‘The Candy Jar’ where they built their own candy bar. I’m not SAYING we are the best parents ever, but I’m certainly implying it!! In all seriousness though, our kids were angels for the length of time we were in the store, so it turned out pretty good for everyone.
Bozeman was a hit!! And it was the perfect layover between National Park adventures. We needed to rest up because Yellowstone is not far away…
Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to like and subscribe and click on the bell icon for notifications when we release new videos!
There is amazing adventure awaiting everywhere!!

Taming Big Sky Country: The History of Montana Transportation from Trails to Interstates
The state’s major routes evolved from ancient Native American trails into four-lane expressways in a little over a century. That story is one of difficult, groundbreaking, and sometimes poor engineering decisions, as well as a desire to make a journey faster, safer, and more comfortable. It all started in 1860, when John Mullan hacked a wagon road over the formidable Rocky Mountains to Fort Benton. It continued until the last section of interstate highway opened to traffic in 1988. Montana Department of Transportation historian Jon Axline charts a road trip through the colorful and inspiring history of trails, roads, and superhighways in Big Sky Country. Montana Columbia Falls Intro Painted Wall 0909
Columbia Falls Montana is between Kalispell and Glacier National Park on Hwy 2. Situated along side of the Flathead River, Columbia Falls was once a logging mecca of the Northwest and today is still the home of a thriving timber and lumber business. A visit to any of the town's numerous antique stores is likely to provide a gem of insider history as well as possibly a keepsake historic treasure waiting to be discovered. Fishing for trout in the Flathead River is a summer time and fall sportsman favorite activity as well as canoeing and rafting for miles along pristine natural shorelines.
