Private Boat Cruise From Sorrento to Capri Italy and Back.
As it was for our drive along the Amalfi Coast, the size of our small group made it possible to hire a private boat and skipper to take use for a boat cruise from Sorrento to the island of Capri of the Amalfi Coast of Italy. It was a gorgeous day for a boat cruise, the sun was shining and the Mediterranean Sea was relatively calm with just a few small waves. We hopped on the boat early and started cruising along the Sorrento coastline exploring the natural beauty as our boat made it's way toward edge of the Amalfi coast and then out to Capri.
Sorrento is a coastal town on the Mediterranean coast of Italy. It is just south of Naples and just around the corner from the Amalfi Coast.
Capri is an island just off the Amalfi Coast on the Mediterranean side of Italy.

Boat Ride | Amalfi Coast and Sorrento
I went on a trip to Italy while I was studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. This trip was short but a friend of mine and I decided to do a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast (link below). During the tour we went to Capri and that evening we explored Sorrento and stayed there as well. I hope you enjoy this video.

Amalfi Coast Boat Rental Tour with Skipper - Sorrento, Positano, Capri - Nautica Sic Sic
Our full day tour of the Amalfi Coast in July. Rough seas, rain, clouds, wind, and a little sun too. We started in Sorrento, rented the boat and skipper from Nautica Sic Sic (nauticasicsic.com), then sailed up to Positano for lunch and exploring. We ended by seeing the Faraglioni rock formations, ice cream at a small village, then back to Sorrento. We'd definitely recommend Nautica Sic Sic, the driver was wonderful and the boat was beautiful. We do recommend going for a boat with a larger motor, they're more expensive, but you can cover more ground - or water. An Amalfi Coast boat tour or rental is a great alternative to driving the Amalfi Coast.
