Paducah Police Chief and Officers with Campers at Noble Park Pool, July 28, 2016
Police Chief Brandon Barnhill and a few officers of the Paducah Police Department dropped in on July 28, 2016 to hang out with the kids attending the Paducah Parks Department's Summer Camp. The kids visited Noble Park Swimming Pool, and the officers held two cannonball contests -- one off the diving board and one in the shallow end of the pool. The kids convinced Chief Barnhill and Officer Matt Scheer to show off their cannonball skills and Officer Gretchen Morgan to take a turn on the slide. The Police Department then treated everyone at the pool to free ice cream.

Downtown Paducah | Kentucky Life | KET
With its abundance of artists, galleries and museums, Paducah is widely considered one of Kentucky's most creative communities. The town sought and received a UNESCO designation as a City of Crafts and Folk Art.
The heart of Paducah is its downtown. From the earliest explorations of Kentucky's Western Waterlands region, the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee rivers brought people to Paducah's riverfront and the city grew from its banks.
Home to the National Quilt Museum, fiber artists around the country come here each April for the American Quilter's Society Annual Quilt Show and Contest. Downtown is also home to the Yeiser Art Center, Maiden Alley Cinema, the Carson Center, and the Paducah School of Art.

Description
Peter Wolf Toth Trail of the Whispering Giants
Peter Toth created 74 Whispering Giants all are in all 50 states 1 in Canada, and even one in Hungary. Interesting fact is that they all resemble natives of the region that they are located in. The basic tools he used to create these were a hammer and chisel...and on occasion he used a mallet and an axe. He rarely ever used power tools to create these beautiful pieces of art. I hope everyone will be able to find them and let me know more about them with either photos or through a video.
