Via Pescherie Vecchie in Bologna & Mercato Di Mezzo | Italia Gourmet Foods
As promised, the video of one of Italia’s best food market that I made without the gimble with my IPhone 11 Pro.
The quality is not bad seeing that I’m walking and holding it with just one hand.
Via Pescherie Vecchie is a market that stretches along an old street. Some of the stores date bake to the 17th century!
From exquisite delicatessen to fruits, vegetables and fish, you can find everything and the freshest of food!
Then, you will see a few images of the Mercato di Mezzo that I liked so much and other images of some of the foods that I enjoyed in Bologna.
Bologna is said to be Europe’s capital of gastronomy. Now that I have been there, I understand why. Everything was so delicious. I can’t wait to go back!

Hidden Gems in Italy: Bologna
Bologna is the capital and largest city of the Emilia-Romagna Region in Northern Italy. It is the seventh most populous city in Italy, at the heart of a metropolitan area of about one million people, but is relatively quiet compared to Florence, Venice or Rome. Though small, Bologna is a maze of a city, filled with rich culture and is heavily populated with students. During the day this city offers visitors history lessons with its many museums and historical sites such as the iconic Due Torri, the Fontana Del Nettuno and the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca. The University of Bologna is a beautiful piece of architecture in itself. The main city square, Piazza Maggiore is centrally located and close to the major tourist attractions, shopping streets, restaurants and bars. Here you’ll find numerous small cafes that line the alleys to start your morning. Everything you need to see is walkable and makes for a great experience, emerged in the Italian culture when visiting the small, but history saturated city.

Buon appetito e… CIN CIN!

Via Clavature street, Bologna, Italy
Early morning bustle along this central street here in Bologna. Easy to get to from the Piazza Maggiore you will find plenty to discover just about any time of the day. This video is shot fairly early in the morning as the venders are just beginning to set up. Absolutely recommended and utterly fantastic. I spent a fair amount of time here shopping and eating...and of course drinking my fill of espresso!

Places to see in ( Bologna - Italy ) Biblioteca Salaborsa
Places to see in ( Bologna - Italy ) Biblioteca Salaborsa
Biblioteca Salaborsa is the main public library in Bologna, region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy. In 2001, the central offices of the public library were moved into the northern portions of the Palazzo d'Accursio, flanking the Piazza del Nettuno, which is just north of the Piazza Maggiore.
Visitors to the library are able to see an archaelogical site through the crystal floor in the centre of the library. The ancient ruins are also accessible from the basement floor, where there is information about them.
The library was opened in 2001, although the building it resides in, Palazzo d'Accursio, is far older. The ruins, on which the site was built, include remains from the ancient city of Bononia, which dates back to 189 BC. There are also Etruscan ruins on site that predate the Roman ones.
