Breakwater Bridge Valletta
During World War II the foot-bridge on the Valletta side of the breakwater was destroyed when, at dawn on the 26th July 1941, the E-boat unit of the Italian Regia Marina attacked the breakwater in a savage, but futile, attempt to gain access into the harbour. The Italians paid a heavy price, as all the attacking vessels were destroyed in the counter-attack which involved guns on Fort Saint Elmo and Fort Ricasoli, as well as those further afield.

VALLETTA MALTA ST ELMO LIGHTHOUSE AND BREAKWATER BRIDGE
This video shows the Beautiful walk from the side of the war museum to the Breakwater Bridge and than the view of the lighthouse .there is no access to the lighthouse at the moment as there seems to be repairs to the bridge.this is a very scenic walk but not to be done in bad water as you could fall to your death or be swept away by the waves.
good weather only.

The steps down to the rough pathway can be found between the Malta Experience.and conference center, Once down the steps the walk can be a bit rough in sections, but also interesting and varied heading towards the Breakwater Bridge. At one point you will cross a platform with metal railings. Some really breathtaking views along the way. I also came across two cliff jumpers
