16th June 2012 Kangaroo Island Admirals Arch to Browns Beach
We head north from Remarkable Rocks to Western River and then follow the Northern coastline back to Kingscote and then decide to camp at Browns Beach Campsite which we discovered the previous day. The coastline Scenery is absolutely awesome. I would like to go back and spend a week or two camping at some of the 5 star camp sites all around the Island. They have covered eating areas with gas cooking, solar hot water showers and luxury ablutions. The fishing looks pretty good too, Bream, Yabbies and King George Whiting are plentiful I am told. I didn't try as we had limited time.

Kangaroo Island has many great beaches. Some of them are well known and some of them not as well known. Browns Beach is one that is not far away from Penneshaw and has a great camping spot. Visit for another great accommodation option on Kangaroo Island.

Browns Beach and Squidding | Yorke Peninsula
A small video with crammed clips filmed during the trip to the Yorke Peninsula, SA. Salmon trout were in good numbers, a lot of nice fish were dropped but we ended up landing 4 around the kilo mark. The wind made it difficult to fish, but the squid were on the bite.

Kangaroo Island Beaches - Redbanks Beach
Kangaroo Island has loads of beaches. Some are quite well known to a traveller, however, some are a little more less well known. When staying around the American River area there are some beautiful little swimming beaches that are well known to the locals, however, not as well known to travellers. A tip when visiting Kangaroo Island is to chat to the locals about the best fishing spots, the best surf spots and of course the best swim beaches. They love sharing their little secrets. A great holiday accommodation hotspot in the American River area is
