Thanks for watching our Bruce Peninsula camping, Tobermory Grotto, Sauble beach vlog :) Subscribe if you haven't already! Drove 6 and a half from Kingston over to the Bruce Peninsula, camped on Cyprus Lake, checked out the grotto! Super nice place, the water was so clear. Those boys were doing flips of the 50 - 60 foot ledge, I wanted to try just jumping off of it but it was too scary fo me. Saw so many snakes, ate some salad, struggled to open a beer. On our drive back we stopped in at Sauble beach which was super fun.
Just a little geographic context, the Bruce Peninsula is 4 hours north of Toronto Ontario and seperate the Georgian Bay from Lake Huron. We camped on Cyprus Lake which is in Bruce Peninsula National Park and Tobermory is a small town adjacent to the park. Sauble Beach is 1 hour south of Tobermory on Lake Huron :)

The Grotto is a scenic cave containing a pool of blue/green water located on the Georgian Bay shoreline in Bruce Peninsula National Park, near Tobermory, Ontario. The Grotto is a popular attraction and very busy during the summer and on long weekends.

MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN CANADA!! Bruce Peninsula and Grotto, Tobermory || Ontario, CANADA
We found the most beautiful water in Canada. It's the Caribbean of Canada, just with freezing cold water. We got to swim in a GROTTO and hiked to the most beautiful places. We found an amazing Airbnb in southwestern Ontario that was so peaceful and great for the kids. The Bruce Peninsula and Tobermory area is definitely one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to. This was an amazing adventure and we can't wait to come back and see and do more. We LOVE you Canada!!

Exploring Tobermory Ontario - Bruce Peninsula National Park - The Grotto
Tobermory is located 4 hours north of Toronto, Ontario at the Nether tip of Bruce Peninsula. Most of the video was shot at the Bruce Peninsula National Park located in Tobermory. It is a great location for picnics, hiking and camping. The weather was amazing and I was able to get some really beautiful aerial shots from my drone. I used the DJI Phantom.

Bruce Peninsula / Tobermory Ontario Canada ( The Roadtrippers)
Bruce Peninsula National Park straddles the Niagara Escarpment, a huge forested ridge that runs through southern Ontario, Canada. The Grotto is a limestone cave overlooking Georgian Bay’s clear waters. Cliffs frame the beach at nearby Indian Head Cove. Singing Sands Beach, on Lake Huron, has shallow waters with sand dunes and a boardwalk. The Bruce Trail passes caves, forests and cliff overlooks.

Travel Mammal coming back at you. Now, if you're the type of person who loves to hibernate during winter, maybe Bruce Peninsula National Park will change your entire perspective!
Located four hours NW of Toronto, the park is very popular during the summer months for its beautiful turquoise water along Georgian Bay.
But during the winter, its famous beaches and shoreline caves freeze to create a stunning, icy backdrop!
Indian Head Cove features limestone rocks and a white boulder beach. The famous Grotto is a large sea cave.
Stay safe and use proper hiking gear no matter what time of year.

Bruce Peninsula National Park | Tobermory Ontario Shot In 4k
Bruce Peninsula National Park just might be Ontario's most beautiful place in the summer! Bryon and I came here to go camping and stand up paddle boarding and ended falling in love with Georgian Bay. We found our own little oasis just around the point on Little Cove.
Probably the highlight of my summer. PS. the water is cold!

On the Road to Recovery at Bruce Peninsula National Park
Across Canada and worldwide, turtle populations are in decline. 7 out of Ontario’s 8 turtle species are “at risk.” At Bruce Peninsula National Park, we’re taking action to make roads safer for reptiles and amphibians, including turtles. Through the On the Road to Recovery project, we’ve installed eco-passages and eco-fencing, and are working to develop public awareness of road mortality issues. Our citizen science volunteers are actively monitoring and protecting turtle nests. You can help to make a difference too: get involved, report your sightings, and brake for turtles!

Tobermory | Bruce Peninsula National Park | Birthday Celebration
The Bruce Peninsula is a unique place in the world... where the community strives to ensure that human activity is in balance with nature.
We stayed in Harbourside Motel in Tobermory for two nights. This is a waterfront motel conveniently located on picturesque Little Tub Harbour. From our balcony we had the view for Chi-Cheemaun ferry and the town. Our room was extremely clean and well maintained, with AC and with very comfy beds.
I was planning to spend my birthday on the Flowerpot Island, but due to the strong winds the cruises were cancelled. Instead we managed to make reservation for the last available time slot to the Grotto at The Bruce Peninsula National Park. It is a scenic Canadian attraction, but due to the shorter days we did not get the most of our visit to this location. I hope that the next year we will go there again.
Thank you for watching

2018 Travel Diary- Family Trip to Bruce Peninsula National Park, Grotto & Beaches
This travel diary video is all about our recent family trip to Bruce Peninsula National Park (July 2018) to see the blue waters of Georgian Bay in Ontario. Our trip was one week long. We drove in from Ottawa ( an 8-hour drive). It was me, my husband and 5-year old son.
In the video, you will see footage of most of the places we visited during our stay. I also included a screenshot of a map for each place so you can see where each place is located. Bruce Peninsula is a very long peninsula (about 1 hour long) and all the attractions are located around it. We visited many beaches and swimming areas with crystal blue water (it’s cold water though!).

ABOUT THE AIRBNB COTTAGE
We rented an Airbnb cottage on Highway 6 for one week, which was located only 3 kilometres away from the town of Tobermory, ON. Tobermory is a quaint little harbour town, with lots of tourist shops, boat tours (Flower Pot Island tour) and restaurants. It has a small grocery store as well, but I recommend doing your large grocery before you hit Owen Sound.
This cottage was situated very close to all the attractions like the famous Grotto (in Cyprus Lake), Big Tub Lighthouse and Harbour (sunken ships) Dunks Bay Beach, Singing Sands Beach, and Sauble Beach.

Fathom Five’s freshwater ecosystem contains some of the most pristine waters of the Great Lakes.
