Heat wave? What heat wave? Ventura County residents found delightful conditions at Ventura State Beach Sunday, June 19, in stark contrast to inland temperatures, which soared past 100 degrees in some areas.
Ventura: Legacy of Tortilla Flats - Stories Lived
The Tortilla Flats Mural Project, a public art project created by Moses Mora and MB Hanrahan, is a legacy to a community that existed from about the 1920's to the 1950's until it was displaced by the 101 Freeway in Ventura, CA.
