Crushed Dark Berries, Integrated Wood, Full-Bodied
Red wine with a certain evolution here, light to medium ruby core, lighter rim towards orange, fairly high viscosity. Pure nose; intense fruitiness going on here, dark cherry, cassis. There’s a hint of wood but finely integrated, in the background rather; some spicy notes. I like the texture here, it’s a doubtlessly full-bodied wine, with good weight, good volume, and I think the tannins are already rounded here, it’s a quite juicy fruitiness here, like freshly crushed dark berries and cherry, nicely integrated wood, good persistence. Ripe and distinct, still youthful with a great potential for further aging, but it’s nicely rounded, nicely crafted, with a quite polished texture already, and a great character and length. Good.
