Wythenshawe Women Can! March 2016
Women and Girls are a traditionally under-represented group in sport and physical activity and face a number of barriers to participation. Wythenshawe Women Can sought to help remove these barriers and connect women and girls to opportunities for participation in sporting activity, careers and healthy lifestyles.
Showcasing everything sport and healthy living in Wythenshawe and beyond. The day of activities at Wythenshawe Forum highlighted careers in sport and health and celebrated the contribution of women working in these fields. From career speed dating with an NHS Surgeon, to exercising with your toddler, to cooking your own healthy lunch - there was something on offer for women of all ages and backgrounds.
Motorway Fiesta Numpty!
Travelling north on the M3 at Winchester approaching junction 11. Watch as I pass the 200 yard exit marker on the left (at this point I'm doing 60mph), you'll see a white Fiesta pass me in lane 2 - and then pass inbetween two white vans. He's almost passes the motorway exit but manages to turn inbetween the two vans to exit the motorway! Then he approaches the big roundabout and cuts in front of another car! NUMPTY!!!
