CAVTAT CEMETERY -CROATIA NOV2019
Cavtat Cemetery
Although the walk to the Mausoleum is not gently, it is nothing like bad as some people describe. It is most definitely worth the effort. You can walk up through the old town. The second half of the journey is through shady trees. The cemetery consists of family vaults.
Beautiful and quiet. Very nice scenery and the Mausoleum is an impressive piece of stonework.
Every grave had flowers and well maintained. A local guy said this is probably due to the 1st of November being a date where people remember those who have passed.

Vlog | Follow me around Croatia | Cavtat, Dubrovnik & Lapad
Hey guys, I went to Croatia in April. I have to say Dubrovnik is by far one of my favourite city in the world. I will for sure travel back to it.
I hope you guys enjoy this Vlog as much as I did.
Croatian currency is Kuna, the convertible rate is very good therefore it makes it manageable to spend when in Croatia.
I would highly recommend walking everywhere as the transport is very expensive avoid taxis.
There is so much to do when in Croatia. Highly recommend the City wall tour, Island hopping, Fort Imperial, Harbour tour, Dubrovnik Bridge, Cavtat Cemetery and Game of thrones tour.

Yes I mispronounced the city name. The C sounds like an s in Croatian, so it's Sahv-taht not Cahv-taht. Ooopsy dumb American me

Fishing and Foreign Flags - Croatia to Montenegro Ep7 Sailing Everlong
After 3 months, the time has come to leave Croatia and really begin the journey home. We leave the island of Vis, and check out of Cavtat, Croatia. We then sail to Montenegro and blunder our way through customs (with a slight flag debacle). We catch our first fish trawling off Everlong, and sail into some beautiful sunrises.
See where we are now: We're using a brand new LIVE tracking system with our Iridium GO satellite phone.

Dubrovnik Jewish Synagogue and Former Ghetto, Croatia
Dubrovnik has a Synagogue and Jewish Museum on Zudioska Street. (It's easy to find the little side street -- just look for stands selling Jewish magnets outside!)
This tiny Sephardic synagogue was built in 1342 and is the second oldest in Europe after Prague. Most of the Jews arrived in the 1500's after the expulsion from Portugal and Spain. Perhaps 45 Jews now live in Dubrovnik and 2,000 in all of Croatia.
The surrounding houses were was part of the Jewish Ghetto where Jews would be locked in like cattle in the evening.
