SRF26-CENTRAL COAST BUSES 1986 Pt3 - The Entrance To Gosford
Following the showing of parts 1 and 2, I have received a number of requests to show the entire 1986 bus trip from The Entrance to Gosford railway station.
I had only included the start and end parts of the trip in the initial parts due to a thought that it would be excessively boring.
Further Central Coast bus rides will appear in future videos.
Please subscribe to ensure you are notified.
Thanks for the interest.

Central Coast Bears - Rugby League on the Central Coast NSW
Skip Film Productions Australia Producer Noel Sadler
The beginning of Rugby League on the Central Coast...
Over more than 60 years the Central Coast has made a massive contribution to the growth of rugby league in Australia by producing many famous internationals and first grade footballers.
The first initiative from the Central Coast Rugby League was the launch of a junior competition in 1947, which in 2009 is a proven production line for some of rugby league's best talent.
Over the years, the Central Coast has produced league legends such as Graham Eadie, David Fairleigh, Mark O'Meley and Steve Carter. More recently it has produced NRL stars such as Chris Heighington, Matt Orford and Tim Moltzen, while the likes of Glenn Morrison continue to star in the British Super League.
From the late 1940s to the middle of the 1960s, the Central Coast Rugby League grew in strength, and duly applied for group status. This was granted in 1967 and the local competition became Group 12. The group achieved divisional status in 1981.
The passion for rugby league has also mirrored the growth of the Central Coast's burgeoning population, with the region now recognised globally as a rugby league stronghold.
Rugby League in Sydney's north has also enjoyed a long and illustrious history, dating back to the birth of the game in Australia. On 7 February 1908, the North Sydney District Rugby League Football Club was formed.
Since those pioneering days, some of Australian rugby league's all time greats have worn the famous red and black colours, including Ken Irvine, Greg Florimo, Brian Carlson, Harold Horder, Cecil Blinkhorn, Duncan Thompson, Frank Hyde, Gary Larson, Billy Moore, John Gray and Mark Graham.
In more recent times stars such as Billy Slater, Matt King, Nigel Vagana, David Peachey and Craig Wing have turned out for the Bears.
Fairleigh and O'Meley also enjoyed success with the Bears, and embody the link between the heritage of the red & blacks and the future of rugby league on the Central Coast.

SRF66: PENINSULA BL - GOSFORD TO WOY WOY
We return again to the Central Coast for a second look at bus and train operations in the 1980s.
In this 1986 episode, join me for a bus ride in Peninsula MO-9336 from Gosford station down to Woy Woy station.
Along the way, we see business and vehicles from the era, other buses and a brief look at the former Gosford Racecourse branchline crossing.
As always, these old videos were taken on early video camera equipment with little thought given to tripods, or similar luxuries.
They are what they are.
Plenty more Central Coast transport history to come. If this interests, please consider subscribing so you will be notified when each becomes available.
Mostly because I am forgetful and often forget to mention it all the relevant groups. :-)
