Greenough River and Sea, Geraldton, Western Australia.
A short flight with a Parrot Disco around Greenough River and the ocean. Please excuse the lens quality as I chose a UV for the Flight instead of a CPL. I have since ditched the filters and fly with AWB and Post Edit from there. My next Video will be much, much clearer with good contrasts.
Also using a larger battery pack so keep an eye on the Power Consumption. Pretty Impressed.

Greenough is a historical town located 400 kilometres north of Perth, Western Australia and 24 kilometres south of Geraldton on the Brand Highway. The historic buildings are controlled by the National Trust of Australia. Another feature popular with tourists are the trees that are bent 90 degrees due to the coastal winds.
The mouth of the Greenough River is about 10km to the north of the town.
History
The area was first explored by George Grey in 1839 after which he named the area after Sir George Bellas Greenough, the president of the Royal Geographical Society in London. Grey claimed that the area could become the granary of Western Australia.
In 1851 Augustus Gregory surveyed 30 000 acres (120 km²) of land in the region which became known as the Greenough Flats. This was subdivided into 20 and 30 acre lots with the view to encouraging English settlers who would be more used to the relatively small (by Australian standards) farm sizes. Within a few years it had developed into a highly successful wheat growing area and a population of over 1000 from which a successful town developed.
A series of disasters starting with a major cyclone in 1872 and major flooding in 1888 as well as the discovery of gold in the goldfields caused the gradual decline and abandonment of the settlement so that by 1900 most of the settlers had left the area with many of the small farmlets converted to grazing. The town fell into disrepair until a tourism based project in the 1980s helped refurbish many of the buildings.
Geraldton is a city and port in Western Australia located 424 kilometres (263 mi) north of Perth. According to the 2001 census, Geraldton has a population of 29,996, making it the fifth-largest city in Western Australia.
Today the city is an important centre for mining, fishing, wheat, sheep and tourism.

Just up from the Historic Greenough Hamlet is a fabulous farmlet with many options. 11.91 hectares with it's own water supply and power to a couple of sheds and lean to's. (powered) The property is divided in 5 paddocks and ready for Hay or to run a bit of livestock. Being just 23k's from the start of Cathedral avenue in Geraldton, it represents an ideal weekender. Plenty to love here and ready for a new owner!

Geraldton is a coastal city in the Mid West region of Western Australia, located 424 kilometres (263 mi) north of Perth.
At June 2015 Geraldton had an estimated urban population of 39,825.[1] Geraldton is the seat of government for the City of Greater Geraldton, which also incorporates the town of Mullewa and large rural areas previously forming the shires of Greenough and Mullewa.
The Port of Geraldton is a major west coast seaport. Geraldton is an important service and logistics centre for regional mining, fishing, wheat, sheep and tourism industries.

The glassy, small, and punchy beach breaks of Newport provide a fantastic testing facility for a diverse spectrum of surfboards. On this beautiful morning we find Grant Noble, Joey Bookout, Kyle Kennelly, and Troy Elmore sharing some fun, playful waves on the surfboards mentioned above.
Troy Elmore is surfing one of his self shaped 5'5 Elmore Frye'd Fish, nearly identical to the 5'4 Elmore Frye'd Fish we have as apart of our Research Center. We'll often hear from Members of our Research Center that their favorite fish models ossiolate between Elmores and STPNKs. Kyle Kennelly is bouncing between the Research Center's 7'0 Fineline MP and 7'10 Liddle Baby V, great boards for effortless trimming and relaxed, low performance gliding. Joey Bookout was drawing graceful and unique lines on his own board that isn't apart of our Research Center. Joey is one of our favorite local shredders, the cat has style for days! Don't worry, we'll catch him on one of our Research Center sleds next session.
The most interesting conclusion of the day was from Grant. He was trading off between the Daydream Research Center's Griffin Stepanek (STPNK) Keel and Paddle Keel Fish models. The Paddle Keel fin design can scare people but Grant found that between trading off between the standard Keel Fish and Paddle Keel allowed him to hold most of the other variables constant and focus on the differences between the fins. Grant's conclusion was that the Paddle Keels seemed to have a sort of rubber band resonance that would allow him to spring out of his turns more and aided in reducing drag. If grant were to see both in the rack of our Research Center, he'd most definitely choose to ride the Paddle Keel Fish.
