It was in April, and lucky that the apple picking was still available though :) Apple picking in Summer town was quite fun. The place is also not that far from the Adelaide city. 1 hour ++ mins drive. Also, other attractions in Adelaide Hills, such as Toy Factory, Haigh's Chocolate Factory, Gorge Wildlife Park, are not that far from this place. Enjoy ! And make sure you follow the map :)

Former Goulburn Valley orchard workers employed in the state government's Fruit Industry Employment Program gathered at Shepparton East for the program's launch on November 8.
The team of ten workers affected by SPCA's fruit intake cuts were due to start weed control spraying in one of eight environmental projects started in the City of Greater Shepparton and Moira Shire.

• Time is running out to nominate someone for the Greater Shepparton Australia Day awards. If you know someone striving to make a difference, nominate them for this year’s awards
• You can now pick up your local Christmas gifts and cards from the community Christmas shop at the Visitor Centre. The shop will be open until 9 December at the Visitor Centre in Nixon Street
• Watt Road Bridge will be closed on Thursday 17 and 24 November to allow for height restrictors to be installed. The height restrictors will stop overweight vehicles travelling across the bridge and causing unnecessary damage.
• Come and enjoy the outdoor dining, produce stalls, bars and live entertainment at the fryers Food Festival. Fryers Street will be closed for the festival. Full details are on Council’s website.
