Une des plus anciennes partitions (tablature) pour clavier, extraite du Robertsbridge Codex (1360) sur l'un des plus anciens instruments encore jouable, l'orgue de la basilique de Valère, à Sion (Suisse). Jean-Luc Perrot est organiste à Souvigny (orgue Clicquot) et Saint-Étienne (orgue Callinet, église Notre-Dame), président des l'association Amis de l'Orgue Clicquot de Souvigny (AOCS).

One of the more unusual attractions of the Swiss canton of Valais is a 600-year-old organ, believed to be the oldest functioning organ in the world. It is housed in an 800-year-old fortress-church on a hill in Sion, the capital of the Canton.
The organ, built in 1390 and most recently restored in 1954, is mounted on a wooden pulpit jutting out like a ship's bow from the rear wall of the Romanesque-Gothic church, once the Cathedral of Sion and one of Switzerland's most haunting edifices.

World's oldest playable organ - Basilique de Valère/Sion - Guy Bovet plays Haydn, Flötenuhrstücke
World's oldest playable organ is assumed to be situated in the Cathedral of Valère above Sion/Sitten in Wallis/Switzerland. Built around 1430, three of its original registers, Superoctave 2', Quint minor 1 ⅔' and Mixture 1' have been preserved originally. With not more than altogether 8 different registers, this gothic organ is suited best for ancient music (try to imagine, how odd a Vierne or Widor would sound on it!) or, as in this case, for the Flötenuhr (flute clocks / organo mecchanico), wherefor Haydn has written several lovely pieces. Guy Bovet plays N° 2,5,12,11 (all C major), N° 18 and 17 (F major), N° 23 in C major again and N° 27 in G major).
