City of Dreams Manila is a 6.2-hectare (15-acre) luxury integrated resort and casino complex located on the Entertainment City gaming strip at Aseana Avenue and Roxas Boulevard in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines.[1]
It is owned and developed by Melco Resorts and Entertainment (Philippines) Corporation, a joint venture between Belle Corporation, a subsidiary of SM Investments Corporation, and Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited, listed on the HKSE and NASDAQ. The US$1.3 billion resort complex formerly named Belle Grande Manila had its soft opening on December 14, 2014 and its grand opening on February 2, 2015 with live performances from local and international acts such as Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Ne-Yo and Kelly Rowland dubbed as the Concert of Dreams to mark its grand launch.[2] City of Dreams Manila is a sister resort to City of Dreams in Macau. It is the second of four billion dollar casinos to rise in Manila's gaming strip after Solaire Resort & Casino which opened in March 2013.[2]
The resort consists of six hotel towers with 938 rooms, which includes a Nobu Hotel, Nuwa (formerly Crown Towers) and a Hyatt Hotel. It has 289 gaming tables, 1,620 slot machines and 176 electronic table games.[1][2] A feature of the casino resort is the dome-like structure called Fortune Egg which houses two international nightclubs namely, Chaos and Pangaea, both developed by the group led by “International King of Clubs” Michael Van Cleef Ault.[3] City of Dreams also contains a 60,000-80,000 sq.m. shopping mall called The Shops at The Boulevard.[4] A theme park is also located within the property called DreamPlay built in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation.[5]
The Upper Ground Level of the Carpark Building was closed to give way for the expansion of The Shops at The Boulevard. A new entertainment area (The Garage) is opening on October that will feature local and international restaurants along with a VR Zone Arcade, a partnership with Bandai Namco Amusement.

City of Dreams Manila Now Open Casino Hotels Roxas Boulevard. City of Dreams Manila is a 1.13-billion lavish integrated resort & casino featuring a dazzling array of entertainment & attractions, 3 award-winning hotels and exquisite dining outlets by Premium Leisure Corp. owned by Henry Sy and his SM Group and will be operated by Macau's Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. It was opened on December 14, 2014 at 3:00PM. Initially open to the public are the gaming areas, CenterPlay, a live performance lounge inside the casino, Nobu restaurant and tea lounge, Hyatt Hotel, and select food and beverage and retail establishments. City of Dreams was designed after the City of Dreams Macau, the flagship project of Melco Crown Entertainment a top Macau casino operator.
There are 6 hotel towers, including the 260 room Crown Towers hotel, the 321 room Nobu Hotel Manila and Hyatt Hotel, restaurants, bars, gaming facilities, and a multi-level car park.
It will also have 3 distinct entertainment venues, including Manila’s first family entertainment center; a live performance central lounge inside the casino and 2 night clubs Pangea and Chaos by “International King of Clubs” Michael Van Cleef Ault situated at the iconic fortune egg, a dome-like structure serving as a centerpiece of the whole complex.
The complex sits on a 6.2-hectare site at the gateway to Entertainment City.
There will be 1,680 slot machines, 365 gaming tables, and 1,680 electronic table games upon opening. Entertainment City is a 120-hectare development of PAGCOR and will compete with Las Vegas, Macau, and Singapore. Manila Bay Resorts, owned by Japanese billionaire Kazuo Okada, is expected to open in late 2015 while Bayshore City Resorts World, a venture between Filipino billionaire Andrew Tan and Malaysia’s Genting Group, will open in the fourth quarter of 2018, they announced separately last week.

We decided to take Weenie on a walk and get videos of all the construction going on around Roxas blvd. This area has a few hotels and casino's already. City of dreams, Okada Manila, Solaire and Hyatt. I'm guessing this area will be called Aseana City. It's also very close to Mall of Asia.
Hyatt City of Dreams Manila Hotel Review | IS IT WORTH IT?
This is my experience staying at the Hyatt City of Dreams Manila Hotel. It's actually our first stop after arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport from Tokyo. Had a very scenic drive with the Uber ride, but we eventually made it to the hotel. Still beats paying the airport taxis.

TOP 8 THINGS TO DO IN DREAMPLAY MANILA
Thinking of having a fun family bonding with your kids? Then, come visit Dreamplay Manila where you and your kids can play and enjoy various activities for both adult and kids.

Of course, you should bring your family in Dreamplay with you. It’s definitely boring and not fun if you go there alone. Plus, it seems that there is a policy that an adult is not allowed to enter if he/she is not accompanying a minor. The children will enjoy seeing familiar characters from Dreamworks movies like Madagascar, Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda. Mascots roam around so you can have selfies with them.
Some visitors have complained that simply buying a ticket is so complicated and time consuming. Perhaps, Dreamplay is already addressing this issue. Or you can buy your tickets online.
Adults can opt to participate or not to participate. The ticket price is cheaper if an adult will not do the activities. But if you’re with your family or kids, it is recommended that you participate even if it’s more expensive. It would be a waste if you just watch your kids play. Enjoy your bonding moment with your family.
You will be thrilled with this play center! There are lots of challenging and parkour activities for kids and the young at heart. It’s a great venue for hyper active kids to channel out their energies. Stairway to Heaven is a must-try. Conquer your fear of heights. It is truly an exciting adventure and a must see attraction.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring extra clothes for the kids and for you as well. You’ll surely sweat it out when you do all of the challenging activities. If you ever dreamed of climbing a mountain, this is a great place to practice. There is air conditioning but since you expect to do a lot of movements, the area does not feed too cold. Also, there are minimum height requirements for the various attractions.
The place is not as big as Disneyland or Universal Studios. Maybe, you can finish all the activities in four hours, depending also on how long the queue is. Make your visit more worth it and repeat doing the activities.
We also found it a little dark but maybe that’s the ambience that they wanted to create. This explains why the video output was also dark. But the place is decorated with many Instagram-worthy photo ops.
Some schools include Dreamplay Manila for their field trips. It is a great indoor playground where kids can play and learn at the same time. It is also interactive so it makes learning more fun.
Experience assembling a toy boat and toy dragon. Float Your Boat is not that exciting but young kids might enjoy it. Basically, you build your boat and float it down the artificial river. Race with a friend to make it more fun. The same goes with How to Fly Your Dragon, you connect pieces together to form your dragon. Then, you go up the stairs until you reach the area where you will release your dragon. It will slide down but it’s hard to see it from your point of view.
Relax and enjoy watching 4D animated movies. Make your own animated movie. Bake like a chef, complete with apron and a chef’s hat. You’ll have your own working station, utensils, and frosting. Knead dough and bake your own gingerbread. You also get to eat it too.
There’s also a café inside so when the kids get tired and hungry, you can buy food there and rest for a little while until they are recharged. Bottled water is expensive, as in very expensive. If you are on a budget, eat first and have a heavy brunch before entering the place.
There are also puppet shows in the DreamTales Library.
There are lockers available where you can keep your things. There is also a clinic where you can go just in case an accident happens. There’s a Dream Shop near the exit where you can buy some toys and souvenirs.
You get to wear a wrist tag upon payment of entrance fee. The staff will remove it when you exit the place. The tickets may seem pricey or expensive. But in the end, the price is worth it because you and your kids have shared wonderful memories in Dreamplay. It’s interesting and engaging.
You should definitely visit Dreamplay when you’re in Manila. You’ll have a great time and it will be an adventure to remember!
Go to Dreamplay early so you will have enough time to explore all the attractions. It is very near SM Mall of Asia. So, it would be great if you can drop by SM MOA afterwards. That is, if you and the kids are not yet exhausted from playing. There is a shuttle available from SM MOA to Dreamplay and from Dreamplay to SM MOA.

City of Dreams Manila is a 6.2-hectare (15-acre) luxury integrated resort and casino complex located on the Entertainment City gaming strip at Aseana Avenue and Roxas Boulevard in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines.[1]
It is owned and developed by Melco Resorts and Entertainment (Philippines) Corporation, a joint venture between Belle Corporation, a subsidiary of SM Investments Corporation, and Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited, listed on the HKSE and NASDAQ. The US$1.3 billion resort complex formerly named Belle Grande Manila had its soft opening on December 14, 2014 and its grand opening on February 2, 2015 with live performances from local and international acts such as Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Ne-Yo and Kelly Rowland dubbed as the Concert of Dreams to mark its grand launch.[2] City of Dreams Manila is a sister resort to City of Dreams in Macau. It is the second of four billion dollar casinos to rise in Manila's gaming strip after Solaire Resort & Casino which opened in March 2013.[2]
The resort consists of six hotel towers with 938 rooms, which includes a Nobu Hotel, Nuwa (formerly Crown Towers) and a Hyatt Regency Hotel (rebranded from Hyatt). It has 289 gaming tables, 1,620 slot machines and 176 electronic table games.[1][2] A feature of the casino resort is the dome-like structure called Fortune Egg which houses two international nightclubs namely, Chaos and Pangaea, both developed by the group led by “International King of Clubs” Michael Van Cleef Ault.[3] City of Dreams also contains a 60,000–80,000 sq.m. shopping mall called The Shops at The Boulevard.[4] A theme park is also located within the property called DreamPlay built in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation.[5]
The Upper Ground Level of the Carpark Building was closed to give way for the expansion of The Shops at The Boulevard. A new entertainment area (The Garage) is opening on October that will feature local and international restaurants along with a VR Zone Arcade, a partnership with Bandai Namco Amusement.
