Clackamette Park, Oregon city
Clackamette Park, Oregon city. January 2012. This park is located at the confluence of the Willamette and the Clackamas rivers. Heavy rains and snow melt caused some flooding, however both rivers are below flood stage in this video. The first green bridge you see is the Clackamas river bridge. The bridge you see in the far distance is the Abernathy bridge and spans the Willamette river. We're used to this sort of thing here in Oregon, so we try and make the best of it. As you can see, the birds don't seem to mind too much either.
Clackamette Park Flying
This Video was shot on 1-25-14 at Clackamette Park in Oregon City Oregon. It was a nice calm sunny day which is rare for Oregon this time of year. The video came out ok, I could use some more practice with editing in i-movie. Not to bad considering it was filmed on an old Flip HD camera that was stripped to reduce weight and have the battery relocated to the back of the plane.

This is a quikclip i snipped from some video i took while at Clackamette Park here in Oregon City, Oregon USA while playing with my LG GFLEX and some video editing software.
There was a huge seal splashing away in the distance gobbling up some fish. The seals in this area are huge and always hungry pissing off the fishermen, but hey its a nice little area and has lots of places for a picnic.

This is a trip I took with a Thunderbolt(HTC) cell phone using Camera Trigger(set at 2 second intervals), windows movie maker and Power Director. I had to use movie maker because Power Director would only allow the snap shots to be shown at .2 seconds each which was too slow.

Russell Reddick promotes drowning prevention at Clackamette Park during epic motorcycle ride
At 12 noon on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, members of the Clackamas County Water Rescue Consortium welcomed motorcyclist and water-safety activist RUSSELL REDDICK to a special press event at Clackamette Park in Oregon City. Fire and police boats were present at the event.
Russell Reddick was riding 10,000 miles on his motorcycle -- starting in Casper, WY and traveling to the four corners of the Continental U.S. -- in honor of his late daughter Kira, who died in a tragic drowning accident in 2004. His ride raised water-safety awareness and funds for the Drowning Support Network (DSN) -- an all-volunteer, online peer support group, sponsored by the nonprofit Higgins & Langley Memorial and Education Fund.
As Reddick rode across the country, he met with members of DSN, participated in water-safety and drowning-prevention events hosted by public-safety agencies, and raised funds for the Higgins & Langley Memorial and Education Fund. The Education Fund sponsors the annual Higgins & Langley Memorial Awards in Swiftwater Rescue, in addition to DSN and other education programs.
Present at the Sept. 12 event at Clackamette Park were members of the Clackamas County Water Rescue Consortium -- including personnel from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, American Medical Response, Clackamas Fire District #1, and the Oregon State Marine Board. The Water Rescue Consortium features members of multiple local first-response agencies, all working together to enhance water rescue in Clackamas County. For more information on the Consortium, visit .
