Sea of clouds provide fascinating spectacle of Great Wall
A breathtaking cloud sea formed Monday morning over a section of the Great Wall in Chengde City, north China's Hebei Province, attracting many visitors with its enthralling scenery. The sea of clouds lasts about three hours before the sky cleared up after a shower. Tourists and amateur photographers were amazed by the beautiful scenery.

In this video, I am going to show you the Mountain Area of Chengde Mountain Resort.
Inside the Mountain Resort, there are about 120 scenic spots.
The most fmaous ones are the 72 scenic spots named by Emperor Kangxi and Qianlong.
We will see some of them in the Mountain Area, such as, Simianyunshan, Qingfenglvyu.
And there is the yard where Emperor Kangxi once prisoned his son.
The view on the mountain is really gorgeous.

Splendid Cloudscape Appears over North China's Great Wall
Rare cloudscape took shape on Monday over the Jinshanling Great Wall in Chengde, north China's Hebei Province.
Massive sea of clouds were seen on Monday morning floating over the Great Wall as the weather cleared up after several days of rains in Chengde.
The ancient wall and beacon towers, partly hidden in the drifting clouds, have perfectly integrated into the natural wonder.
Some shutterbugs were attracted to capture the rare moments at the Great Wall on Monday.

In this video, I am going to show you the lake area of the Mountain Resort.
The landscape at the Lake Area is the best of the Resort.
We had a boat trip and it felt like floating in a virtual world, a gorgeous painting by nature.
Lots of scenic spots by the lake were built after the landscape of Jiangnan.
There is Yanyulou, where the popular Qing Dynasty TV series Huanzhugege was shot.
There is the Lion Grove Garden built after the one in Suzhou.
There is the fabulous lake scenery in sunshine, under dark clouds and gorgeous sunset.

Guling (牯岭) is a resort town in Lushan City, Jiangxi Province, China.
Guling, originally romanized Kuling, on the slopes of a wide valley in Mount Lu, was established in 1895 by the missionary Edward Selby Little as a sanitarium and rest resort for Western missionaries in southern China. They built their houses in the colonial style of architecture, and added a church, schools, and sports facilities. It was named by Little, as a pun: it is wonderfully cooling after the summer heat in the plains below. It was also a word that sounded conveniently Chinese to the local people, and has been adopted by them.
Prior to 1949, President Chiang Kai-shek chose Lushan as the summer headquarters for his nationalist Kuomintang government, having been introduced to the place by his wife Soong Mei-ling.
