Hotel Barcelo Praha, Prague, Czech Rep. #HotelReviews
Really nice and clean hotel. Located a little bit outside the city centre so you will not find a lot of things to do around the hotel however this is not a big issue as it is communicated very well. You have plenty of buses, trams and metro in just few steps out of the hotel. It will take 20-30min to get to city centre. Rooms are very comfy, tidy and clean. They only could be a little bit bigger. All the essentials are provided (TV, AC, hairdryer, safe, fridge, toiletries, Wi-Fi etc.). Food in the restaurant is tasty and you will find there good variety of choice.
The only thing I could complain about is 'english skills' of reception staff. I think their english should be a little bit better in 4* hotel in the city like Prague. I ordered a taxi at the reception for a next day morning and I don't know if they didn't understand the time I wanted the taxi at or what. They called my room early morning, waking me up, saying that taxi was waiting outside... couple of hours too early! Fortunately they fixed everything and taxi came back later for a right time.
Summing up - nice, modern hotel, probably better for business trip than holiday or city break. I'm not convinced if they should have 4*. When booking, keep in mind location as for this price you can easily find something really good closer to old town.

Vienna to Prague Bus Trip
We take the Vienna to Prague Bus Trip aboard the budget carrier RegioJet bus lines. This turned out the be a cheaper and easier option than train or plane. The bus station was only about 7 minutes walk from our hotel which was very convenient, considering we were traveling fairly light. Finding the right bus and boarding our bus turned out to be very easy.
So what was the trip like? The bus was not as comfortable as we had hoped. The seats were fairly cramped and not altogether comfortable. There weren’t any stretch breaks along the way, or toilet stops. The bus was 100% full for the entire journey. It really was a “cattle class” bus trip. This wasn’t really a problem, especially since the total cost for the 4.5-hour journey was only 45 Euros for the three of us!

PRAGUE | SOLO TRAVEL VIDEO
Before I went to Prague I had 2 choices: to take many clothes and to take amazing pictures for Instagram like all the girls almost nowadays do and get “more attention”, or : to take clothes 1 outfit for each day and enjoy the nature, views, culture and be there just for myself, without thinking about anything else. So I chose the second choice. To be alone with a clear mind, with my thoughts and just to enjoy being there. Just to film the places I want to remember on videos and have it forever. I'm so glad I did it.
Live life, not likes. It will be gone one day.
I ordered a shared taxi from a local app before I had my flight. It cost 11€. A regular taxi cost not less than 23€.
The driver was waiting for me in the hall with a black suit and a sign with my name.
They make you feel so special, I totally recommend.
P.S he took me to the hotel so I can put my stuff and took me for the same price to the old city, where I can start my solo your:)
Hotel name: Sky.
Very clean, modern and the most comfortable beds!
The people were very friendly, they woke me up at 4 am for my flight as I asked them to do (never trust your phone alarm).
I fell in love with Prague, and I'll definitely go back again!

Cesky Krumlov (Castle Tour) / Day Trip from Prague
We took a day trip to Pesky Krumlov from Prague. It took 3 hours by bus from Student Agency. Cost was 400CZK round trip. I left at 8am and arrived at 11am.
Bus has movies and was comfortable.
It's about a 15 minute walk from the bus station to the city center and about another 10 minutes to the castle.
If you go for rafting, be aware, the water levels all over Czech Republic are low, so it's more slow and calm rafting then wild white water.
