Around the world, there are museums dedicated to art, history or biology, but some of
them are a little special. From ramen to penis, you'll see a lot of unique things in these
really strange museums.
14 Condom Museum
We start our list with a condom museum in Thailand. Thailand is the the biggest producer
of condoms in the world so it's natural they'd have a museum for them.
Still in their original packages and surprinsingly unused, the condoms there come (hehe)
from every corner of the world and from the oldest of times.
13 The Dog Collar Museum
In Kent, England there is a museum for dog collars. With dog collars as much as 100
years old, this dog collar museum will fill your dog collar needs for good. Did I mention the
dog collars?
12 Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum
In Tennesee, a woman named Andrea Ludden is writing a study on salt and pepper
shakers. And she has over gathered over 22.000 different sets. Her personal collection is
now a museum for the condiment enthusiast in you.
11 British Lawnmower Museum
In Southport, Nothern England, there is a place where you can see the world's most
expensive lawnmowers, and even royal pieces, such as mowers belonging to Prince
Charles and Princess Diana.
We're talking about the British Lawnmower Museum, of course.
10 The Mütter Museum
At number 10 we have a collection of medical oddities. You can find bits of Einstein's brain,
a piece of John Wilkes Booth, and things like tumors or shrunken heads.
Now, I know. World's weirdest medical stuff at just number 10?
Well hold on to your panties, things are about to get REAL weird.
9 National Mustard Museum
It's the year 1986. Barry Levenson sees his favorite baseball team lose the World Series
and he loses all hope to live, until one day, in a supermarket, the mustard on the aisle
started talking to him.
„If you collect us, they will come”.
He later left his job and dedicated his life to a collection of over 5000 mustards in the
National Mustard Museum in Wisconsin.
8 Twine Ball Museum
Ever heard of the world's largest twine ball?
Ever wondered where it's housed?
Well at the Twine Ball Museum in Darwin, Minnesota. There's even a Twine Ball Day every
year.
The museum is the life's work of Francis A. Johnson, twine connoisseur.
Well, Mr. Johnson, you sure have some balls.
7 The Meguro Parasitological Museum
It is well known that the japanese are really weird, but one japanese Dr Satoru Kamegai
took his passion for parasites through The Scary Door.
He founded the Meguro Parasitological Museum in Tokyo in 1953 and since gathered over
60,000 specimens.
One of the most famous exhibits is an 8 metre long tapeworm.
6 Sulabh International Toilet Museum
You wouldn't think it, but there is an International Toilet Museum in Delhi, India.
Apart from the hundreds of toilets on display, the underlying message of the museum is a
call for sanitation improvements in third world countries.
5 Museum of Bad Art
Among the many basements of Dedham, Massachusetts, there is one a bit more unique.
Home to the Museum of Bad Art, it has more than 600 pieces that are considered „bad”.
Celebrating failure since 1993, everything here is bad. Really, really bad.
4 Museum of Broken Relationships
Hey remember the times you thought your life should be a movie? Well, it shouldn't be. But
maybe you found a place here.
In Zagreb, Croatia, at the Museum of Broken Relationships, people can see artifacts from
many relationships that have crashed and burned.
They do take donations, so feel free to send you ex's stuff.
3 The Sex Museum
Okay, now we're talking. The SEX Museum in Amsterdam. Probably best for adults ony, it's
filled with stuff like painting and ancient sculptures and plenty of modern day deviance on
display.
2 The Icelandic Phallological Museum
On the same page, in Reykiavik, Island you can find the Icelandinc Phallological Museum.
The Penis Museum in other words.
They have a wide collection of penises from many type of mammals, humans included.
It's the only museum of its kind in the world. A penis riddened museum.
1 Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum
At number 1 it's the japanese again. The sick mind of Momofuku Ando, creator of Cup
Noodles, also created the Instant Ramen Noodle we are so familiar with.
And in Osaka, there is a museum dedicated to him and his creation.
It even includes an instant ramen workshop where you can make your own „fresh”
noodles.

National Art Center, Tokyo Japan Travel Photography
I love this place! It's great for a sunny afternoon coffee break; it's great for get-togethers with old friends; and, of course, it's great for photographers!
The National Art Center, Tokyo, has a modern architecture design that is breathtaking and gorgeous. Depending on the time of day, the light and mood of the museum is different.
I spent a good hour in the morning and in the evening to capture the museum in two different kinds of light.
Check out the video and let me know what you think!

Foreign ministers from S. Korea and Japan meet for first time since ...
한일, 냉랭한 분위기서 외교장관회담…소녀상 갈등 고비
Top diplomats from Korea and Japan have wrapped up their talks in Germany on the sidelines of the G20 foreign ministers' meeting,… raising speculations on whether the two envoys found a way to exit from their frosted bilateral relations.
Reflecting the heightened tensions between Seoul and Tokyo stemming from the installation of a statue dedicated to Japan's wartime sex slavery victims in Korea,…the opening statements by the two ministers were held behind closed doors.
Although details of the bilateral discussions are unknown, Korea's foreign minister Yun Byung-se and his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida have reportedly expressed their stances on the so-called 'comfort woman' statue in front of the Japanese consulate in Korea's southern port city of Busan as well as Tokyo's recently released guideline on textbook studies that require Korea's Dokdo Island be stated as Japan's territory in school courses.
The results of the talks will serve as an important milestone for the future of Seoul-Tokyo ties.
Japan's ambassador to Seoul and its consul general have still not returned to Korea after being summoned last month.

When we think of museums, we think of dinosaurs, national history, natural history, and art sculptures from some artists you don’t remember the name of. If you know where to look, however, you’ll see there’s some pretty strange stuff considered museums. So let’s make that search easier for you as we talk about some of the weirdest, coolest, and most unique museums in the world.

7. Meguro Parasitological Museum
This museum full of creepy crawlies was established in 1953, opened in the Meguro Ward in Tokyo, Japan. Dedicated to informing the public about parasites and the science of these organisms, the Meguro Parasitological Museum includes over 300 preserved specimens put on display with about 60,000 parasite specimens in the research library. If you’re prone to feeling tingles all over your skin when you think of stuff like this, maybe skip a visit to this place.
6. Mutter Museum
Speaking of specimens and science, that brings us to the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the name of the medicinal education, the Mutter Museum displays a collection used in the history of this field’s education. It counts as part of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. One of the specimens includes the tallest human skeleton on exhibit, measuring to 7 foot 6 inches tall and called the Mutter American Giant. Every year, it gets over 130,000 visitors--you wouldn’t think that number would be so high, so they must be doing something right.
5. The Beijing Museum Of Tap Water
Beijing is a major city which means it has its share of reputable museums--one of which being the Museum of Tap Water. We know, nothing sounds more boring than thinking about water dripping from the faucet in your kitchen. However, don’t count out the Beijing Museum of Tap Water. You wouldn’t think you could make a whole establishment surrounding the subject of tap water, but it’s there. It’s possible. At the museum, they feature not only the history of tap water, but photos, maps, old equipment and the like that has to do with water supply and that stuff’s more important than it sounds.
4. Dog Collar Museum
When you’re done looking at lawnmowers in England, travel a bit further south of Merseyside to Kent where you’ll come across the Dog Collar Museum. Yup, that little brick house holds a large array of dog collars, old and new. From the ancient collars centuries ago to the newest designs of modern day, you’ll find all things canine here. Irish medieval scholar John Hunt and Gertrude, his wife, started out with a collection of 100 collars and decided to go from there. It eventually turned into its own, albeit relatively small museum, but you can’t say you can find a place like this just anywhere.
3. The Bunny Museum
Now located in Altadena, California, the Bunny Museum Bunny museum holds the world record for all things dedicated to bunnies. You’re probably thinking its lined with stuffed bunny toys, and you wouldn’t be wrong. In addition to that, however, they even have things like freeze-dried rabbits, which, we can’t say we’ve seen before anywhere else. Have you? To make things a little more normal, they also have ceramic bunnies, chocolate bunnies, and even a giant bunny out front. The museum opened in 1998, where you can only enter by appointment and donation.
2. The Underwater Sculpture Parks
Both the Molinere and Cancun Underwater Sculpture parks came from the mind and ambition of sculptor Jason DeCaires Taylor. The aim of these submarine museums was to encourage people to be more involved in their underwater environment. Not only that, but the coral reef in these areas have sustained damage over the years and these concrete sculptures have become a new home for the coral wildlife that needed a new place to inhabit. Many of the sculptures depict regular people, with characteristics that reflect of the local culture.
