Cove Island Lighthouse from the NW.MP4
Cove Island Lighthouse, in Fathom Five National Marine Park, is one of the many Canadian lighthouses that were recently declared surplus by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. Built in the late 1850's, this was the first of six imperial towers built on Georgian Bay and along the Canadian Shores of Lake Huron, and was the last manned lighthouse on the Bay. The last keeper was Jack Vaughan. It is hoped that some group will be formed to take over maintenance of this incredible light before it deteriorates further.

MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN CANADA!! Bruce Peninsula and Grotto, Tobermory || Ontario, CANADA
We found the most beautiful water in Canada. It's the Caribbean of Canada, just with freezing cold water. We got to swim in a GROTTO and hiked to the most beautiful places. We found an amazing Airbnb in southwestern Ontario that was so peaceful and great for the kids. The Bruce Peninsula and Tobermory area is definitely one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to. This was an amazing adventure and we can't wait to come back and see and do more. We LOVE you Canada!!

Aerial view Lighthouse Cove, Lake St Clair, Ontario, August 20 2017
Another good boat launch, south east corner of Lake St Clair. The mighty Thames river empties into the lake here. Again, like Mitchels Bay, you can see the Detroit Resonance center towers to the west on the horizon.
The Hobie Cat Mirage Tandem Island performed well again, even rescuing a large blow up swan from a marshy area, lol.
Ontario has endless beauty ever where you turn, wish I could have have filmed all the places we visited this year. Got a few more to post, enjoy the view.
