Jersey cattle are a small breed of dairy cattle. Originally bred in the Channel Island of Jersey, the breed is popular for the high butterfat content of its milk and the lower maintenance costs attending its lower bodyweight, as well as its genial disposition.

COWS Ice Cream is a Halifax Busker Favourite!
About Cows
Facebook
COWS began to make ice cream in 1983 with an old-fashioned recipe that originated in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island. In fact, our secret COWS recipe dates back to the time of Anne of Green Gables and contains the same all-natural ingredients that were enjoyed by the children of Avonlea.
In a very short time the demand for COWS ice cream and products increased dramatically, and COWS quickly became a Prince Edward Island symbol as identifiable as Anne herself! Despite the growth that COWS has experienced, the same old-fashioned ingredients are still used today when making the 32+ flavors that are produced by COWS Inc. in Charlottetown. Each COWS ice cream is served in a handmade waffle cone, created one at a time, right at the counter.
In 1985, COWS introduced a fun assortment of clothing for its staff to wear. A great deal of attention was drawn to these clothing items by the ice cream customers; not only did the customers want to buy our ice cream, but they wanted to buy our staff clothing! Responding to this interest, COWS introduced a line of T-shirts and sweatshirts, which featured the colourful images of outstanding designers. The images became extremely popular and further products (caps, mugs, towels, sleepwear, etc.) were added to the COWS retail mix. COWS clothing and images have been seen around the world, and response to our Catalogue store has been excellent!
Ice cream from an old-fashioned Prince Edward Island family recipe has been combined with a wide assortment of clothing and fun products to become the COWS store of today. While clothing sales now represent a major component of our business, it is our super premium ice cream that continues to drive the store's success and keeps customers coming back for more!
WHY DOES OUR ICE CREAM TASTE SO GOOD?
COWS ice cream is SUPER PREMIUM, because we use cream with a very high butterfat content of approximately 16%. Our ice cream is mixed slowly so that it contains very little air - just enough to prevent the ice cream from freezing into a solid block of ice! The result is our creamy, high-density COWS ice cream that melts slowly in your mouth, allowing you to truly savour the taste. Some other ice cream producers mix their ice cream at a high speed and inject air to increase volume. Finally, we use the finest ingredients available to make our ice cream. All of our ice creams contain fresh cream, real eggs, and sugar. Today, we make 32 + flavors to delight the taste buds of true ice cream lovers! As we introduce each new flavor, we carefully select only the finest ingredients available. For instance, our Strawberry ice cream is made with fresh Prince Edward Island berries, our Chocolate ice cream is made with the finest cocoa imported from Holland, and our Vanilla ice cream is made with pure natural vanilla.

CANADA | Train to Halifax | One of the best scenic train trips
This video is based on my train journey from Quebec City to Halifax. After doing this 20 hours journey, I can say it is one of the most beautiful train rides in the world. I have shared information on the facilities available on a Via Rail train for passengers. For eg, restaurants, pantry, free wifi, etc. The best thing about this train journey was the dome coach of the train where anyone can come and sit for free. This journey was actually a joy ride for me.

A Sevengill Cow Shark Experience (Watch in 1080p)
Watch the above video in HD 1080p to get the clearest images of the sharks.
My name is Scott Seamone. I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been in the water with 11 different species of sharks in an vast array of marine settings around the world. I am currently an undergraduate at Dalhousie University studying Marine Biology. In addition, I am conducting a research project on the spiny dogfish shark. I have a strong desire to study elasmobranchs at the graduate level. I hope to further my understanding of these animals so I can help raise awareness about sharks to others.
Many people ask me how I have become so interested in sharks. In response, I decided to connect with ShARCC and Pawn Media to make a video that would explain the most influential day of my life. All of the scuba diving footage came from one single day, in the dark, green, cold, temperate waters of the South Atlantic, in Cape Town, South Africa.
