Crystal Geyser
This is the Crystal Geyser a rare cold water geyser in Green River, Utah.
Green River State Park, Green River, Utah
An oasis on the west bank of the Green River is where you'll find yourself resting in the shade of the tall cottonwood trees and lush green lawns.
The park is a starting point for boaters adventuring through Labyrinth and Stillwater canyons. It is also a great base camp for seeing scenic Southeastern Utah with easy access o I-70 (detailed on page 24). The park sports a nine hole golf course with meandering fairways, lakes, and sand traps which makes this a favorite for golfers of all ages and skill levels.

The North Carolina Zoological Park is well-known for its plant and animal exhibits. Equally impressive, though, is the zoo's major art collection, which is one of the largest among zoos in the United States. A recent addition to that collection is a geyser exhibit, which is located at the zoo's prairie habitat. Closely modeled on the geysers seen at Yellowstone National Park, this one sends blasts of water more than 20 feet into the air every five minutes.

Old Perpetual Geyser and Town Of Lakeview North Well
The geyser, Old Perpetual, at Hunters hot springs in Lakeview, Oregon.
This geyser and adjacent hot springs are threatened proposed geothermal power generation projects. Notably and the most recent threat, the Town of Lakeview has a geothermal well, seen in the background of the video, that is operated for a nearby state prison. The plan is to increase pumping at this well, destroying the geyser, springs, and biotic communities associated with them.
Not to mention you will no longer be able to get a 104F soak at the nearby hot springs resort after these projects are undertaken, either.

Green River State Park Campground Review - Green River, Utah - Excellent campground for tents or RVs
We recently camped t the Green River State Park Campground in Green River, Utah. It is amazing. We camped on grass surrounded by giant cottonwood trees. Most of the camp sights have water and electricity which is great on a cold night in a tent to be able to run an electric blanket. This camp has a boat ramp to access the Green River. Also, there are full showers and bathrooms included. We've stayed here twice and have found the access to Moab, Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Goblin Valley, and other locations a reasonable drive.
Hwy 89, near the Jelly Geyser region, Yellowstone, Wyoming.
On Highway 89, Grand Loop Road heading south away from the Beryl Hot Spring and Gibbon Falls area. On the right side of the Highway is the Firehole River and by the end of this video I'm just a short distance away from the Jelly Geyser region.

Ep. 95: Green River Kayak Camping | Utah kayaking Canyonlands National Park
A voyage down the final 100 miles of the Green River by kayak, canoe or raft, through the Labyrinth Canyon and Stillwater Canyon into Utah's Canyonlands National Park, is an epic bucket list camping trip. It's also the only way to see this part of Canyonlands. We spend eight days on the river, encountering other river travelers from four other states and two other countries along the way. We find remnants of ancient people dating from 200 to 1,200 years old, including the Outlaw Cabin and Anasazi cliff dwellings. We descend through numerous layers of the earth’s crust, passing through two seasons. Throughout it all, though, the river is our constant, yet moody companion; at times our lover and best friend, and at other times our worst enemy, the river is alive -- a living, breathing creature that dominates our lives for days on end.
FOR MORE INFORMATION
Separate river permits are required from the BLM for Labyrinth Canyon, and from Canyonlands National Park for Stillwater Canyon. The Labyrinth Canyon permit requires little more than filling out a form and carrying the required gear, while the permit for Stillwater Canyon requires a bit more arduous and bureaucratic process and while there’s no lottery involved, permits are limited by the number of people who can be shuttled by outfitters from The Confluence or Spanish Bottom. Ruby Ranch’s owners also charge a fee for those who choose to launch their boats there, although there are alternative put-ins at Crystal Geyser and in the town of Green River.
Applications and more information may be found at:
* BLM Labyrinth Canyon
* Canyonlands National Park river permits
Two outfitters are permitted to provide shuttle services from Spanish Bottom to Moab and also provide guided expeditions:
* Tag-A-Long Expeditions
* Tex’s Riverways

ABOUT US
Welcome to Grand Adventure, a YouTube channel that focuses on RV-centric outdoor activities including not only of course camping, but also mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing and more, nearly always filmed in stunning 4K.
We're based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and invite you to come along as we travel all around the western U.S. My wife Patricia and I, and our dogs Zoe and Maggie are avid boondockers, so you'll seldom find us in RV parks or even dry campgrounds. Instead, we're usually camped in some of the most remote and beautiful spots that you could ever pull a travel trailer into. And unlike most other RV channels on YouTube, we're not RV dealers or full-timers -- we're weekend warriors just like you!
We'll provide tips and insight on equipping and maintaining your RV, trip planning and travel videos to make your next adventure a grand one indeed! So, subscribe to make sure that you catch every episode, and remember...life is nothing but a Grand Adventure!

Yellowstone Lakeshore Geyser
The Green River on the Ashley National Forest in Utah
The Green River starts in southwest Wyoming, runs through the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area in Utah to Dinosaur National Monument through some of Utah's most rugged and remote landscape. Popular for its beautiful scenery and crystal clear water, the Green River is a great place to go fishing. There are 17 river camp sites that can be accessed only by hiking or floating in. You can reserve a site on recreation.gov. There are several sections of the river that can be rafted, kayaked or canoed, but some areas require permits from the National Park Service including Gates of Leodore, Whirlpool Canyon and Split Mountain.
