Glen Hope Road is on the western side of the Paroo River. The road starts south of Hungerford QLD and runs into the back of Wanaaring NSW. It's a beautiful drive through outback NewSouth Wales. Just make sure you take someone to open the gates for you - there are plenty of them!

Another great spot and some kayaking at Big Pump Water Hole, Currawinya National Park. The vista wall worked well, protecting from the westerly sun but not obscuring the view.

Outback Bicycle touring Western Queensland.
Just a short overnight tour to Currawinya National park. I was going to go for five days but the red dirt was just too thick and soft to really cycle. I made it to the park and camped next to the river. The next day I turned around as the road got worse. Still good to see. (Next time on a fat bike.)

There's something quite magic about camping on the backs of an Outback river and even better when sharing with mates. Here's a clip from last years Team GAR, switching bikes, putting a BMW through it's paces, making contact to the outer world....no aliens! Fire wood control with Mr Thomspoon and Medic Mark giving us a brief on the medical gear we carry. All great fun and this part of the world is really quite special, if you get chance you must join us one day.....Happy Travels.
