The London Eye, a marvellous and modern piece of architecture in the British capital, offers a breathtaking view of the whole city including such sites as Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Houses of the Parliament and Big Ben. These majestic structures leave visitors in awe and impress anyone who knows good architecture.
In the heart of the city, on the South Bank of the Thames, between Hungerford Bridge and Westminster Bridge, this is one of the major landmarks which attract tourists.
It is also the tallest Ferris wheel in the whole of Europe and the most paid tourist site in the UK. This enormous wheel has 32 air-conditioned and sealed ovoidal passenger capsules making this whole magnificent experience a comfortable one. The capsules have been made out of glass and allow the passenger to have a great 360 degree view over the city.

I must say, whenever I spend time with my son, it’s a great experience. We are so much alike, considering the large gap in our ages.
Early in July 2018 we spent a couple of days exploring the dirt tracks north of Broken Hill.

Beautiful aerial views over London : These beautiful shots show England’s capital in an entirely new light. Aerial photographer Jason Hawkes - the man responsible for the opening sequence in hit TV show The Apprentice - spent six months compiling the breath-taking images from a helicopter. Jason Hawkes: “I have a great job, which takes me around the world but London is my favourite city. It’s strange when you’re flying above it – it looks so different to how you would imagine.” Here, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London are pictured at night. Jason, who has been an aerial photographer since he was 21, said: “It’s a fantastic city – the sprawl when looking from above is incredible.” Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, with the London Eye in the background.
