Japan’s Mt. Fuji is an active volcano about 100 kilometers southwest of Tokyo. Commonly called “Fuji-san,” it’s the country’s tallest peak, at 3,776 meters. A pilgrimage site for centuries, it’s considered one of Japan’s 3 sacred mountains.
Daishi Bashi Bridge:
Bridge over the Tama River, between Ota-ku, Tokyo and Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
Tama River:
The Tama River (多摩川) is a major river in Yamanashi, Kanagawa and Tokyo Prefectures on Honshū, Japan. It is officially classified as a Class 1 river by the Japanese government. Its total length is 138 kilometres (86 mi), and the total of the river's basin area spans 1,240 square kilometres (480 sq mi). The river flows through Tokyo, on the dividing line between Tokyo and Kanagawa. In the city, its banks are lined with parks and sports fields, making the river a popular picnic spot.

Japan Trip: Beach, History, and More! at Kushimoto, Wakayama 15
Kushimoto is located on the southern tip of the Kii Peninsula in Wakayama Prefecture. This small town has beautiful coastal scenery as well as several interesting museums.
Cape Shionomisaki, located south of Kushimoto's town center, is the southernmost point of Honshu (Japan’s main island). Near the Cap are a shrine and Shionomisaki Lighthouse. Visitors are allowed in the lighthouse and can climb the spiral staircase to the top. Visitors can also learn about the lighthouse and the local history in the small museum located within the Shionomisaki Lighthouse.
Near Cape Shionomisaki lies Oshima Island. It is to mainland Japan by a large modern bridge. The island is home to two small foreign museums as well as beautiful coastal scenery.
The Turkish Memorial Museum is dedicated to a sea accident in 1890. A Turkish ship (the Ertugrul) was shipwrecked due to a rainstorm. When the survivors from the ship arrived onto the shores of Oshima, the townspeople took care of them until they could be safely return to Turkey. This incident marks the beginning of a deep friendship between Japan and Turkey.
Facility Information:
Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Closed: Opened All Year Round (however, it is closed from Oct 14, 2014 to May 2015 for renovations)
Admission: 250 yen per adult
120 yen per child
Oshima's second foreign inspired museum is the Japan-US Friendship Museum. In 1791 two American trade ships, the Lady Washington and the Grace arrived in Oshima Island in the hope of selling sea otter. Visitors can see an official document within this museum commemorating this event as the first friendly relationship between the two countries.
Hours: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Closed: Opened All Year Round
Admission: 250 yen per adult
120 yen per child
On the mainland, visitors can see a series of rocks (around 40) dot the coastline leading out from the shore towards Oshima Island. It is believed that these rocks, called Hashikui-iwa, (meaning bridge pillar rocks) were created by the famous Buddhist monk Kobo Daishi. It is said he formed the rocks after being challenged by a monster to build a bridge across the sea. Now a national natural treasure, many visitors come to watch the sun rising over this beautiful, mysterious creation.

羽田 穴守稲荷 多摩川の夕景 Haneda Anamori-Inari the view of sunset over Tamagawa
After leaving Kawasaki-Daishi,I went over Daishi Bashi bridge and walked around in Haneda town where is known as a place Haneda airport is located.
In Haneda town, there is a shrine called Anamori Inari and I had hoped to go there for long time, this shrine is a bit famous among citizens in Ota city.
Before coming to this shrine,I had already known about this shrine, especially the size of the shrine that is not so large.
As I had known before, actually this shrine is not so large but as far as I know usually many of shrine are not so large, most of them are small.
They are not so large in contrast to temples of Buddhism or churches of christianity but a number of shrines are so many.
I don't know why, shrines which are called Inari(稲荷) are the ones
where gods seems like a fox is enshrined and it tells that Inari likes
food called Abura-age(油揚げ).
Abura-age is deep fried Tofu(豆腐) you often see on the top of a bowl of Udon(うどん) and you sometimes see that food are put in front of small shrines or statue of Inari.
They are regarded as a god brings happiness or good luck to the merchants.
I left the shrine, I went to the canal near Haneda airport and saw beautiful scenes caused by the sun going down to the horizon.

Tokyo Travel Guide - Japanese Adventure
Tokyo Travel Guide - Japanese Adventure
Tokyo is Japan capital and the core of the most populated urban area in the world, Tokyo Metropolis (which has a population of over 37 million people). This huge, wealthy and fascinating metropolis brings high-tech visions of the future side by side with glimpses of old Japan, and has something for everyone.
Huge and varied in its geography, Tokyo Metropolis, spans not just the city, but rugged mountains to the west and subtropical islands to the south. Here are Districts of Tokyo:
Central Tokyo which includes:
Chiyoda (Akihabara)
Chuo (Ginza)
Meguro (Jiyugaoka)
Minato (Akasaka, Shinbashi, Roppongi, Odaiba, Shiodome)
Shibuya (Harajuku, Ebisu)
Shinagawa (Gotanda)
Shinjuku
Toshima (Ikebukuro)
Old Tokyo (Shitamachi) which includes:
Arakawa
Bunkyo
Koto
Sumida (Ryogoku)
Taito (Asakusa, Ueno)
Tokyo suburbs which include:
East Tokyo that includes:
Many suburban wards, including Adachi, where one can visit one of Kanto's Three Great Temples: Nishi-arai Daishi, Katsushika, known for the charming Showa-era atmosphere of Shibamata and Edogawa, a quiet eastern suburb.
North Tokyo:
Includes the suburban wards of Kita, Itabashi and the quieter northern Nerima
Nakano
Ota
Setagaya
Suginami
Over 500 years old, the city of Tokyo grew from the modest fishing village of Edo (江戸). The city only truly began to grow when it became the seat of the Tokugawa shogunate in 1603. While the emperor ruled in name from Kyoto, the true power was concentrated in the hands of the Tokugawa shogun in Edo. After the Meiji restoration in 1868, during which the Tokugawa family lost its influence, the emperor and the imperial family moved here from Kyoto, and the city was re-named to its current name, Tokyo. The metropolitan center of the country, Tokyo is the destination for business, education, modern culture, and government.
Tokyo is classified as lying in the humid subtropical climate zone and has four distinct seasons. Summers are usually hot and humid with a temperature range of about 20-30°C (68-86°F), though it can sometimes climb into the high thirties. Winters are usually mild, with temperatures generally ranging from 0-10°C (32-50°F), though occasional cold spells can send temperatures plummeting below zero at night. Snow is rare, but on those rare occasions (once every few years) when Tokyo is hit by a snowstorm, much of the train network grinds to a halt. The famous cherry blossoms bloom in March-April and parks, most famously Ueno, fill up with blue tarps and sozzled salarymen.
Tokyo has a vast array of sights, but the first items on the agenda of most visitors are the temples of Asakusa, the gardens of the Imperial Palace (in Chiyoda) and the Meiji Shrine (明治神宮, in Harajuku). Tokyo has many commercial centres for shopping, eating and simply wandering around for experiencing the modern Japanese urban phenomenon. Each of these areas have unique characteristics, such as dazzling Shinjuku, youthful Shibuya and upmarket Ginza. These areas are bustling throughout the day, but they really come into life in the evenings. A lot to see in Tokyo such as:
