It is a famous temple in Dhopeshwar village in Rajapur taluka. This village is 5 kms. Away from the city of Rajapur.
It is on the banks of Marudani River. This ancient temple is a natural beauty around it. There are huge mountains on both sides of the temple and a river flows through it, which makes it more beautiful. The marudani river jumped off a hill, hence the temple has a beautiful waterfall.

Visited this epic ancient temple in Rajapur called Dhootpapeshwar.
Temple is a great escape to nature as situated next to waterfall and in the core of greens.
A must visit place in monsoon.

Mahakali mandir is most popular devastan in aadiware wadapeth. Adivare is a very small settlement but very famous for its Mahakali Temple. It is a small well-maintained Temple, which is a home for 3 goddesses viz. Mahalakshmi, Mahakali and Mahasaraswati.After being blessed by all the three, our attention was caught by the well in the premises. A well is a well, but the unusual thing about the well was the way the water was drawn out of it. It had a different arrangement altogether. To a bark of a tree was tied a horizontal bamboo bar like a pulley and at the other end of this was another vertical bamboo with a vessel at the other end, lengthy enough to reach the water table.

श्री गणेश मंदिर , गणेशगुळे. रत्नागिरी. Ratnagiri Darshan.

गणेशगुळे हे श्री गणेशाचे स्थान रत्नागिरी-पावस-पूर्णगड या मार्गावर असून पावसजवळून या गावाकडे जाण्याचा फाटा फुटतो. पावसपासून ४ कि.मी. तर स्वामी स्वरूपानंदांच्या गावातून ३ कि.मी अंतरावर असणारे हे गाव मुख्य रस्त्यापासून आत असल्याने ते सहसा कोणाला माहीत नाही. गुळ्याचा गणपती पुळ्याला गेला या म्हणीवरून हे गाव प्रसिद्ध आहे. हे गाव मुसाकाजी बंदराकडे जाणारा डोंगर व बंदरासमोरील डोंगर असा दोन डोंगरांच्या मध्यभागी वसले आहे.
जवळच समुद्रकिनारा आहे. या समुद्रकिनार्‍यावरील वाळू बांधकामाला उपयुक्त अशी विशिष्ट क्रिस्टल स्वरूपात आहे. हे मंदिर पुरातन काळातील आहे. मंदिराची बांधणी जांभ्या दगडाची असून, मंदिर आजपण चांगल्या स्थितीत आहे. या मंदिरात प्रवेश करण्यासाठी दोन दरवाजे आहेत. दर्शनी बाजूच्या उजव्या दालनालगतचे दालन पूर्णपणे बंदच आहे. दोन्ही दालनांना जोडणारी सुमारे १२ फूट उंचीची एक मोठी शिळा आहे. ही शिळा म्हणजेच श्री गणेश आहे असे मानले जाते आणि म्हणूनच या गणपतीला स्वयंभू संबोधिले जाते, ही मूर्ती दक्षिणाभिमुख आहे.

DhutPapeshwar Temple/Waterfall

Its a Lord Shiva Temple. Its a very calm and peaceful place.

On backside of temple there is small/starting flow of Mrudani River. River jumps from mountains and hard rock, so you can see beautiful waterfall, showing beautiful scenic beauty.

Under watrefall you can see small shiva lingas there(if water flow is less).

There is small bridge over the river head to Shri DattaGuru Temple. Shri DattaGuru statue is made up of brass. On the upper floor of this temple, there is big Shri Yantra kept for worship.

5 k.m. from Rajapur city. Many private vehicles and auto are available from Rajapur.

Rajapur Ganga Falls - Konkan Road Trip In Ratnagiri, Maharashtra

Rajapur Ganga waterfalls is a seasonal waterfall. Fed by monsoon streams, the waterfall is right next to the NH 66 (formerly NH 17) that runs parallel to the western ghats along the Konkan region of Maharastra.

About 30 feet waterfall formed by the minor steams of rain water. Visitors can be relishing the waterfall. These are some of the monsoon picnic spots of Konkan region. Places to visit near Ratnagiri.

The waterfall does appear to be safe. However as always take due precautions while visiting any waterfall.

This temple is just 2 km from Mumbai Goa highway at Anjanari Bridge. The area blessed with nature. Has a hot water spring and picturesque river kajali.
A perfect spiritual weekend with beauty of Nature.
