Tears from Carmen's Eyes by Grant Peeples
One of Grant Peeples' rare love songs, Tears from Carmen's Eyes came to him on a drive through the Florida Everglades. Performance was at the Dixie Theatre in Apalachicola, FL in 2009.
From his debut album 'It's Later Than You Think.'

Evergreen Cemetery in Ocala, Fl, Pt 2
Evergreen Cemetery in Ocala, is kind of unusual. The cemetery is divided down the middle, separated by NW 8th St. The two halves of the cemetery are starkly different, and I am presuming to know why.
The historical marker placed near the entrance to the cemetery (across the street) states that blacks were buried nearby. Since segregtion in this country has been an integral part of US culture until the 1960's, there is no reason to believe that cemeteries were integrated when the deaparted were interred in this cemetery in the 1800's.
I may be wrong, but I am guessing that the plots in this dilapitated and unkept cemetery are those of deceased African Americans, whereas the cemetery grounds across the street are noticeably more organized and better kept, albeit still in a dilapitated and chaotic state. That video is also available, and is separate from this one, and was recorded on the same day as this one. It is currently uploading.
As I was recording, a train passed nearby, rumbling the cemetery grounds. I wonder if the original cemetery grounds were larger, reduced in size by the need to run the train tracks through the area? This section of the cemetery is noticably smaller than the parcel across the street, which is part of the same cemetery.
What may have been an ironic twist of fate, my car, parked nearby, would not start immediately after I had finished recording this video. The fuel pump had gone bad at some point earlier in the day, although I managed to drive about 15 - 20 miles prior to arriving at the cemetery that same day. Coincidence?

SUMMARY
=======
Georgia is a state in the Southeastern United States. It began as a British colony in 1733, the last and southernmost of the original Thirteen Colonies to be established. Named after King George II of Great Britain, the Province of Georgia covered the area from South Carolina down to Spanish Florida and New France along Louisiana (New France), also bordering to the west towards the Mississippi River. Georgia was the fourth state to ratify the United States Constitution, on January 2, 1788. In 1802–1804, western Georgia was split to the Mississippi Territory, which later split to form Alabama with part of former West Florida in 1819. Georgia declared its secession from the Union on January 19, 1861, and was one of the original seven Confederate states. It was the last state to be restored to the Union, on July 15, 1870. Georgia is the 24th largest and the 8th most populous of the 50 United States. From 2007 to 2008, 14 of Georgia's counties ranked among the nation's 100 fastest-growing, second only to Texas. Georgia is known as the Peach State and the Empire State of the South. Atlanta, the state's capital and most populous city, has been named a global city.
Georgia is bordered to the north by Tennessee and North Carolina, to the northeast by South Carolina, to the southeast by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by Florida, and to the west by Alabama. The state's northernmost part is in the Blue Ridge Mountains, part of the Appalachian Mountains system. The Piedmont extends through the central part of the state from the foothills of the Blue Ridge to the Fall Line, where the rivers cascade down in elevation to the coastal plain of the state's southern part. Georgia's highest point is Brasstown Bald at 4,784 feet (1,458 m) above sea level; the lowest is the Atlantic Ocean. Of the states entirely east of the Mississippi River, Georgia is the largest in land area.

Seminole Wind - John Anderson - Lyrics
Awesome country music. Specially dedicated to my good friend Mrs. Mitzi and to her husband . I hope you'll love it .
Ever since the days of old
Men would search for wealth untold
They'd dig for silver and for gold
And leave the empty holes;
And way down south in the Everglades
Where the black water rolls and the saw grass waves
The eagles fly and the otters play
In the land of the Seminole;
Chorus
So blow, blow Seminole wind
Blow like you're never gonna blow again
I'm callin' to you like a long-lost friend
But I know who you are;
And blow, blow from the Okeechobee
All the way up to Micanopy (pronounced: Meh-can-o-pee)
Blow across the home of the Seminole
The aligators and the gull
Progress came and took its toll
And in the name of flood control
They made their plans and they drained the land
Now the Glades are goin' dry
And the last time I walked in the swamp
I stood up on a cypress stump
I listened close and I heard the ghost
Of Oseola cry
So blow, blow Seminole wind
Blow like you're never gonna blow again
I'm callin' to you like a long-lost friend
But I know who you are
And blow, blow from the Okeechobee
All the way up to Micanopy (pronounced: Meh-can-o-pee)
Blow across the home of the Seminole
The aligators and the gull.
