Cetinje : Djukanovic's House
Djukanovic's House (House of the four seasons) was built in 1910 for the Đukanović family. The main façade has a balcony supported by four columns. On each of the column fronts there is a figure representing one of the four seasons of the year.

Despite police brutality, not allowing Serbs from other countries across, heavy rainfall, dozen of kilometers long traffic jams created by the police in order to not allow believers to gather in Nikšić - 20,000 people still gathered!
It is the biggest gathering in the history of my town, which only numbers ~50,000 citizens in it's urban core. Proportionally, that'd be as of 3,6 million people gathered in London, as if 6 million gathered in Moscow, as if 3,2 million people gathered in the streets of New York!
The gathering would've been even bigger, because an expected 10,000 Serbs from Republika Srpska and Serbia weren't let into Montenegro!
Now we wait for the 26th of December. If the government decides that it'll still go ahead with the law, after this spectacular show of rebellion, then we'll have no other choice, than to pick up arms and fight.
God, Saint Basil of Ostrog, Saint Peter of Cetinje are on our side. Only corruption, hatred and crime are on theirs!

Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic signed bitterly contentious legislation on religion and faith into law that will allow Montenegro state to confiscate Orthodox churches.
Djukanovic, who has ruled Montenegro for most of the nearly three decades has long sought to curb the influence of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Montenegro: The Challenges Of A Newborn State
The Mercatus Center at George Mason University presents a panel discussion on Montenegro: The Challenges of a Newborn State, a recent installment in the Mercatus Policy Series. The panel includes authors Frederic Sautet and Kyle McKenzie of the Mercatus Center, and Svetozar Pejovich, professor Emeritus at Texas A&M University.
The discussion focuses around the recently-independent nation of Montenegro, its history of economic reforms, the impediments to progress it currently faces, and possible policy and constitutional reforms that might benefit the young nation in the future including the thorny issue of EU ascension. Montenegro is an exciting and important case study since it represents the difficulties, but also the hopes, that Eastern European countries face in their transition towards greater freedom. The event features commentary from Emeritus Professor of economics at Texas A&M University Steve Pejovich, a native of Montenegro.

Montenegro set for NATO membership
(28 Apr 2017) Montenegrin lawmakers convened on Friday to ratify the Balkan country's membership in NATO and make a historic turn toward the West amid protests by Russia and pro-Russia opposition.
The Montenegrin parliament met in the historic capital of Cetinje for a special session to ratify the accession treaty with the Western military alliance.
Parliament business is usually conducted in Podgorica.
Montenegro's pro-NATO government has urged lawmakers to approve the entry protocol.
Officials said that joining NATO will bring stability and economic benefits after centuries of turmoil.
Russia has been angered by NATO expansion in Montenegro, Moscow's traditional zone of interest.
Montenegro has accused Russia of being behind a foiled election-day coup in October allegedly designed to throw the country off its path toward NATO.
Russia has denied this.
Montenegro has a small military of around 2,000 troops, but it is strategically positioned to give NATO full control over the Adriatic Sea.
The other Adriatic nations - Albania, Croatia and Italy - already are in the alliance.
The country of 620,000 has been historically divided between pursuing pro-Western policies and sticking to an alliance with Orthodox Christian allies Serbia and Russia.
Montenegro gained independence from Serbia in 2006.
