Walking around Shibuya Dogenzaka - Tokyo - 渋谷区 道玄坂 - 4K Ultra HD
A famous street north of the Shibuya crossing and starting roughly at Shibuya 109, Dogenzaka is known for its long line-up of izakayas, karaoke bars and pretty much every other kind of restaurant. Extremely popular at night, Dogenzaka will lead you to Shibuya’s naughty area where you'll find many “adult” oriented shops and love hotels.

Bullet Train Sushi in Tokyo, Japan | Uobei Shibuya Dogenzaka (魚べい) ????
In this video we experience bullet train sushi in Tokyo, Japan for the first time. We had already tried conveyor belt sushi in Osaka, where we could grab plates of sushi as they travelled down, but this was our first time ordering exactly the sushi we wanted and having it fly out and stop right in front of us.
It was really easy for us to order the sushi with the touch screen menus and aside from just nigiri, maki and sashimi they also had an extensive noodle and soup section which we really appreciated. The prices of everything was very reasonable and we found the quality for what we paid offered excellent value. All in all we tried the following:
1) Complimentary match green tea (self service)
2) Tuna and salmon nigiri rolls
3) Grilled salmon rolls
4) Salted sardine sushi
5) Shrimp sushi
6) Salmon nigiri with lots of mayo (not our favorite)
7) Udon soup
8) Miso soup
9) Salmon rolls with chopped chives and chili oil
There are quite a few bullet train sushi restaurants in Tokyo, but we went to Uobei Shibuya Dogenzaka (魚べい) which is located in Shibuya neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan:

Bullet Train Sushi in Tokyo, Japan | Uobei Shibuya Dogenzaka (魚べい) ???? Travel Food Transcript:
We have shown you conveyor belt sushi (Kaiten-zushi - 回転寿司) but today we're going to take you to bullet train sushi (魚べい) . The premise is basically the same. The sushi comes out on a conveyor belt but at top speed. So basically we're going to have these little screens in front of us. We can select the type of sushi we want and then it is going to come flying our way and stop right in front of us and we can feast like kings and queens so let's go.
And we've got Rob again to join us. Exciting times. I'm looking forward to it. I've done a lot of conveyor belt sushi. Yeah. But this whole bullet train sushi is something different. New experience for us. Anything with sushi is good. It'll be great man.
So we've just been given our numbers. We are 70, 71, 72.
So we are now inside the bullet train sushi restaurant. We are soaking wet. We got rained on hard. But I feel like sushi is going to make this better.
Alright so this is the setup we have. A little tablet in front of us with a menu and then we also have a menu up here with lots of pictures. Great for foreigners and up top we have our tea cups, our little bowls for soy sauce and also take-away boxes.
We've been here for a little bit what are you first impressions? This place is amazing. I love how efficient it is. It is also it has just got so many different things you can choose from. Yeah. It is a little weak in the roll department but it makes up for it in the fact that you can get ramen and udon and all sorts of things. Yeah. Very reasonably priced. It comes out fast. It is a fun place.
That was a wonderful lunch. We've got stacks of plates and bowls. And warm plates and cups. So yeah we ate really well. I'm stuffed. It was so much fun coming to bullet train sushi. I thought only conveyor belt sushi (Kaiten-zushi - 回転寿司) was a thing. But seeing it fly past you to other people like that was really cool. Yeah and there is a lot of people who are here enjoying lunch now. So this place is very popular. So this place is located in Shibuya (魚べい) if you also want to come visit. It has been a really fun experience here in Tokyo so I would highly recommend it.
This is part of our Travel in Japan video series showcasing Japanese food, Japanese culture and Japanese cuisine.

HIGH SPEED Sushi with Multilingual Tablet at Uobei in SHIBUYA | Tokyo, Japan
One of my favorite things about Japan is its incredible food scene. When I visited the country back in January of 2019, my palate was blown away by all of the outstanding food that’s available, including tasty and savory ramen, delectable tofu, and yakitori that is grilled to perfection. But one of my top foods of all-time is sushi and the sushi in Japan is the best in the world. Come with me as I try high-speed sushi in Tokyo’s Shibuya area!
After I arrived back in Tokyo from Osaka, I started my next adventure at Shibuya Crossing, the busiest intersection in the world, which 2,500 pedestrians pass through every time the light changes. This area of Tokyo is known for its creatives, including the fashion industry. There are also lots of bars and izakayas in Shibuya.
I linked up with my new friend Kaz, who took me to Uobei to have a delicious high-speed sushi meal at Uobei, which offers at least 80 different types of sushi! At Uobei, each customer gets a tablet that can be set to multiple languages, so if you don’t speak Japanese, you can switch it to English. From there, you are shown pictures of the various types of sushi. Just tap one to order it and it will shoot down the track and arrive at your table within 30 seconds! It’s cheap, delicious, and efficient, so it’s no wonder the place was packed when we arrived!
We started off with some green tea, which Kaz made from a couple of scoops of powder and water.
Our first sushi of the day was two different varieties of tuna and salmon. We added soy sauce all over them. It was a really nice combination with the tuna. Next was the white tuna with onions and rice, which was outstanding. The salmon with onions was also incredibly tasty and fresh!
After I finished my first plate, I squeezed a lot of soy sauce onto it to make it my soy sauce plate, added some wasabi, mixed it in really well, and then continued with more sushi!
Next I went with the standard tuna and rice, which was amazing, and added some ginger to my plate before ordering some smelt roe and salmon roe. But first I went with some flounder, which I’d never had before. It was light, fresh, dense, and had a completely different texture from the tuna and salmon. I could see why it was Kaz’s favorite!
The smelt roe, which is lots of tiny fish eggs, was amazing, and the salmon roe with cucumber was also fantastic. The salmon eggs are a little bigger, so they pop in your mouth and gush out. It was so good! I loved it with the wasabi, which adds a little bit of heat to all of the rice, and the ginger, which I added on top.
Next, I went with the grilled salmon, which was a little creamier than the regular salmon. After that, I ordered flounder fin, tuna with mayonnaise and black pepper, salmon with mayonnaise and black pepepr, pickled sardine, and minced tuna.
The flounder fin was really tender, almost like octopus, and the salmon with mayonnaise and black pepper was a great combination. I liked the tuna with mayonnaise and black pepper better, though! The pickled sardine is a little more exotic and I didn’t see a lot of people around me ordering it, but it was really nice! A little fishy, but good. The minced tuna had a lot of onions on it and was so soft. It was almost like a tuna mash and was my favorite!
By that point, I had already eaten 20 pieces of sushi, but I was ready for more! I can eat sushi all day!
Next, I ordered some sea urchin, which I’d had before and absolutely love, even though I was getting full. This one was spicy and fishy. It turns out I didn’t love it after all!
After that last piece, I was stuffed, so we confirmed our check. Our total came to only 1,209 Yen/$10.94! Unlike a lot of places in Japan, Uobei accepts credit cards.
What an extraordinary sushi experience! This is an experience you must have when you come to Tokyo. The sushi is of a super high quality and you can eat a lot for very cheap prices.
We weren’t done yet! Next, it was time for some sake!
We headed up to a restaurant and grabbed some sake, which was nice and cold and exactly what I needed to wake up!
I hope you enjoyed my first high-speed sushi adventure! If you did, please give it a thumbs up, leave me a comment below, and subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss out on any of my upcoming travel/food content!

Japan Food & Travel Vlog | HIGH SPEED SUSHI TRAIN EXPERIENCE - UOBEI Shibuya Dogenzaka
Hi guys,
Welcome to another Two Hungry Diners' vlog - our first official post for 2019. In this vlog, we reviewed one of most the exciting #sushi restaurants in #Tokyo, Japan and it's called Uobei Shibuya Dogenzaka.
This is a sushi train restaurant serving made-to-order sushi in a high-speed conveyor belt. Your sushi order is made using a tablet device and the sushi are delivered in a tray in a high-speed conveyor belt. While the experience is not too different from traditional sushi train but we personally thought the experience was super-fun and quite addictive (imagine waiting, watching, and taking pictures of your sushi order coming in the conveyor belt). The sushi selections are massive with a wide variety of choices and the taste is certainly above average. The prices are really reasonable and we believe they are on the cheap side. The wait times can be annoying but with plenty of seating, the line does move pretty quickly.
All in all, this is a must try for sushi train/conveyor belt sushi lovers, it will definitely be an experience you will remember and we highly you to have a try!

Uobei Sushi - Cheap Conveyor Belt Sushi in Shibuya, Tokyo
Cheap $1 / 80p conveyor belt sushi at Uobei Sushi in Shibuya, Tokyo. It's the sister restaurant of Genki Sushi in Japan.
Uobei is a fun, cheap sushi bar in Shibuya, also known as bullet train sushi. You order on a touchscreen and your food zooms to your place on the conveyor belt. There's a lot of choice and it's so cheap you can want as much as you want to without a huge bill. It's right by Hachiko Square, the station and Shibuya 109. I'll also show you the vegetarian / vegan options on the menu.

I walked around Dogenzaka Street from Shibuya Station (渋谷駅) through Shibuya Scramble Crossing (渋谷スクランブル交差点) before Christmas at night. I could see some illumination is going on. They were absolutely very beautiful. Needless to say, it’s worth to see it.
Dogenzaka Street is one of the major and famous streets in the Shibuya area. It’s about 15 minutes to walk.

Japan Food & Travel Vlog | GYUKATSU MOTOMURA, Shibuya Crossing, and Hachiko Statue | Shibuya, Tokyo
Hi guys,
Welcome to another Two Hungry Diners' vlog. In this vlog, we visited Shibuya area in Tokyo, Japan. Of course, we had to visit the famous Hachiko Memorial Statue and Shibuya Crossing.
We also reviewed one of the most recommended dishes to try in Tokyo, Japan in a restaurant called Gyukatsu Motomura. Everybody we know who has been to Japan is recommending this place. They said the gyukatsu is to die for!
Gyukatsu is basically a deep fried beef coated in the breadcrumb. Gyu = beef, katsu = cutlet.
We have never had this dish before in Melbourne, so the anticipation is literally killing us while queuing up to enter the restaurant.
We would say we really loved it, we certainly love the uniqueness of the experience we had in that restaurant. We love all the texture from the different ingredients served in one complete dish tray. That gyukatsu dish is extraordinary. However, in our opinion, the beef is lacking the usual beef tasting we are familiar with. This is totally different tasting with the 5-star kobe beef we also tried in Japan. We didn't disappoint but we were still not satisfied with the taste of the beef from this popular restaurant.
What do you think guys? Please leave a COMMENT about your thoughts on Gyukatsu Motomura.
Do you love it? Do you think it's worth the hype?
