A wonderful bit of public art on Stockton's Joan Darrah Promenade located on the north shore of Stockton's Downtown Waterfront. Just a short troll from a Luxury hotel, a 16 screen cinema, a 10,000 seat modern arena, and an active and vibrant night life. Stockton's Waterfront has a new marina that opened early 2010. Come to the San Joaquin Delta and relax at an awesome waterfront with a Luxury Hotel, a 16 screen movie theater, pubs, bars and top quality restaurants. Events at a state-of the art 10,000 seat arena and a classic Fox movie house & stage theater and more are all within a few blocks of each other.

Stockton is along Interstate 5, State Route 99 and State Route 4 amid the farmland of the California Central Valley. It is connected westward with San Francisco Bay by the San Joaquin River's 78-mile (126 km) channel, and is, with Sacramento, one of the state's two inland sea ports. In and around Stockton are thousands of miles of waterways and rivers that make up the California Delta.
