Sculpture Park of Duthie Art Gallery on Salt Spring Island (British Columbia, Canada)
Every spring the ladies from my Toastmasters club go somewhere for a weekend retreat. The last two years have been to Salt Spring Island. We decided to drive most of the way into town. Where we parked turned out to be in front of the Duthie Art Gallery and Sculpture Park. My friends abandoned me as I chose to explore what was there.

Abkhazi Garden (Part 1) in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
Join myself and Anne Marie as we visit Abkhazi Garden in Victoria, British Columbia. Victoria has a maritime climate suitable to growing azaleas and rhodondendrons. Springtime is a great time to visit. This was on Victoria Day in May. The garden has more rare plants per square foot than any other garden in North America. Many were gifts to Prince and Princess Abkhazi when this heritage garden was established. The teahouse serves high tea.
To make reservations at the teahouse:
I wrote about the plants in the garden but I'll be revisiting that topic:
I wrote about Bev Petow's gown sculptures that were exhibited there by Duthie Gallery on Salt Spring Island:
