恵比寿ガーデンプレイスと言えば、東京でも1,2を争うほど美しいと評判のイルミネーションが冬の風物詩となっています。
恵比寿ガーデンプレイス( )は本チャンネルでも以前ご紹介したように、西洋チックな建物で構成されたデパートや美術館、レストランなどからなる複合施設です。
今回は、写真を撮りに沢山の人が訪れる冬の定番イベント「恵比寿ガーデンプレイス ウィンターイルミネーション」の様子をシェア。
年を追うごとにイルミの完成度も増してきている印象で、令和初となる本年はあのBaccarat(バカラ)とのコラボとなるシャンパンバーが期間限定で開店。
勿論今年もクリスタルガラスで構成された超巨大なシャンデリアが飾られていましたよ。

Yebisu Garden Palace - 恵比寿ガーデンプレイス - 4K Ultra HD : If it were not for the Yebisu Beer museum and the Taillvent-Robuchon “maison bourgeoise” (sorry folks for breaking your dream but this is not a “chateau” or a castle since the structure was not built by any lords from the French royal family) Yebisu Garden Palace would have been one of Tokyo's most boring places to visit. So here you are...nothing much to say about this place and even its proximity to Mitsukoshi department store is a huge let down. Our advice? Don’t waste too much for your time visiting the area, just enjoy any video (like ours) of the place you can find on the internet and you will be done!

Amazing 1994 OTIS Traction Scenic Elevators B5-1F@Yebisu Garden Place, Shibuya, Greater Tokyo, Japan
Filmed in January 2016. This is a very nice place, and this is filming one of the low-rise elevators inside the Yebisu Garden Place in Ebisu, Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, Japan.
Yebisu Garden Place is a shopping and cultural centre located in Ebisu. It has a sloped promenade leading to a large central plaza covered by a wide glass arch. The area regularly hosts events and markets on weekends.
It is accessible via the Ebisu Skywalk (a fast-moving covered walkway) from JR Ebisu Station East Exit, which takes approximately 5 minutes on foot.
The complex contains the following attractions:
Sapporo Breweries headquarters;
Museum of Yebisu Beer;
Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography;
Château Restaurant Joël Robuchon, a replica of a Louis XVI French château which houses three Michelin-starred restaurants (L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon - 2 stars, La Table de Joël Robuchon - 2 stars, and Le Chateau de Joël Robuchon - 3 stars);
Yebisu Garden Place Tower, a skyscraper with sky dining restaurants on the top 38th and 39th floors with panoramic views over Tokyo (167 meters tall)
Atre shopping arcade;
Glass Square, a self-enclosed shopping centre; and
Mitsukoshi department store.

After work on Christmas Eve I decided to check Shibuya for any events. I started from Ebisu garden lights, walked through Ebisu station, got to new Google's building Shibuya Stream with some animation and finally to Scramble Square. Unfortunately there was nothing unusual there, except usual lines to KFC, so I went home.

Yebisu Garden Place Winter Illumination is an annual winter illumination event held at Yebisu Garden Place (恵比寿ガーデンプレイス) in Ebisu, Tokyo. It’s one of the most popular, and longest-running winter illumination events in Tokyo, which has been held for nearly 20 years. The event is back in 2019–2020 winter from 2 November 2019 to 13 January 2020.
Yebisu Garden Place Winter Illumination 2019 “Baccarat ETERNAL LIGHTS” features the classic winter illumination with over 100,000 LED lights decorating the whole veue in romantic champagne gold colour. Also there will be an authentic European style Christmas Market with food and drinks, and a 10m tall Christmas Tree. (2 November to 25 December 2019)
The biggest attraction of the event is “Baccarat ETERNAL LIGHTS” , the spectacular 5m large x 3m wide Baccarat crystal chandelier. It’s the world biggest Baccarat chandelier created with 8,500 pieces of crystal parts and 250 lights by skilled craftsmen including 13 of Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF). The chandelier will be displayed until 13 January 2020. Besides, there will be a special champagne bar “Baccarat ETERNAL LIGHTS Champagne Bar with TAITTINGER” open during the season (2 November to 25 December 2019) , serving premium champagne in special Baccarat glasses.
Yebisu Garden Place is complex buildings that has many facilities such as shops, restaurants, museums, etc. It’s located within a short walk from JR Ebisu Station, and it’s very easy to access from the popular tourist districts, Shibuya and Harajuku.
