There was an explosive atmosphere in Egypt on Thursday as the Muslim Brotherhood held further protests and official buildings came under attack.
The governor's office in Giza, near the pyramids, was stormed and set alight by supporters of deposed president Mohamed Mursi.
In Alexandria, Egypt's second largest city, hundreds marched to protest against Wednesday's violent breakup of Brotherhood sit-ins in Cairo.
We will come back again for the sake of our martyrs! the protesters chanted.
Meanwhile the grim task continued of identifying the hundreds killed in the security crackdown.
In Cairo's Al-Iman mosque, relatives looked for their loved ones among the 228 bodies there - people who were shot or burned to death when the adjacent protest camp was stormed.
Workers at the mosque said those victims had not been included in the official death toll of 525, which includes only bodies at hospitals.
The camps have now been dismantled; flattened by bulldozers and with the pictures of Mursi trampled underfoot, but that does not mean an end to the resistance to the military which has been fueled afresh by the bloodshed.
Army patrols are out on the streets, but no one know if they will be able to keep a lid on the fury felt by millions of Mursi's supporters.
Brotherhood spokesman Gehad El-Haddad said that anger within the movement was beyond control.
After the blows and arrests and killings that we are facing, emotions are too high to be guided by anyone, he said.

Historian, Joann Fletcher explores the hitherto downplayed role that women took in the running of state and, indeed, in shaping every aspect of life in Ancient Egypt. Perhaps unassumed by most, the ancient Egyptians were unique in their attitude to sexual equality with women holding the title of ‘Pharaoh’ no fewer than 18 times, while there were also female doctors, tutors, prime ministers and priestesses. Focusing on women of royalty such as Pharaoh Hatshepsut and Queen Nefertari, as well as women of high profession such as Lady Peseshat, the earliest female doctor known to the world, Fletcher reveals an ancient civilization unparalleled in its sexual equality.

Relatives Of Irish Citizens Arrested In Cairo Worried For Their Safety
Relatives of four Irish citizens caught up in a stand-off at a Cairo mosque have said they fear for their safety.
The three young women and teenage boy are children of Hussein Halawa, the Imam at Ireland's largest mosque in Clonskeagh in Dublin.
All four were in the al-Fath mosque which was barricaded by supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi on Friday.
It was cleared by Egyptian security forces on Saturday.
Omaima, 21, and Fatima Halawa, 23, were taken after they left the mosque by security forces who had surrounded and stormed the building.
Although their mobile phones were taken, the two women managed to borrow one and called their family in Dublin, saying they had been arrested.
The whereabouts of Somaia, 27, and Ibrihim, 17, are currently unknown.
Speaking in Dublin on Saturday night, their sister, Nasaybi Halawa, said: The last time I talked to my sister was about 1pm this afternoon.
They had taken her mobile phone but she managed to borrow one. All the while they (security forces) were harassing her and she was screaming and crying.
We are trying to cope. We are trying to be strong so we can do something for them. We have a hope that everything will be fine.
She added: We do not know anything about them. We do not know where they have been taken.
We do not know if they are in one of the police stations in Cairo or somewhere else. We don't even know where to start looking.
The four were among thousands of Muslims who took to the streets on Friday for what they believed would be a peaceful protest, but sought sanctuary in the mosque as violent clashes erupted.
They had gone to their parents' native Egypt with their mother for a holiday at the start of the summer.
The Irish Department of Foreign Affairs is liaising with Egyptian counterparts.
Omaima - a final year student at Blanchardstown Insititute of Tecnology - told RTÉ of the terror inside the mosque as gunfire was heard.
Sheikh Hussein Halawa is the Imam of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland and moved to Dublin with his family 18 years ago.
Crisis talks
Egypt's cabinet is set to discuss the crisis in the country, where hundreds have died in clashes in recent days.
The interim prime minister has put forward a proposal to legally dissolve the Muslim Brotherhood.
Its members are key supporters of Mohammed Morsi, whose ousting as president sparked Egypt's stand-off.
The interim government is continuing to crack down on protests by the Brotherhood, but more demonstrations are planned around Cairo on Sunday.
Overnight, television pictures showed protesters on the streets of Egypt's second largest city, Alexandria, and in Helwan and Minya to the south of Cairo, in defiance of an overnight curfew.
On Saturday Egypt's security forces cleared the al-Fath mosque in Cairo after a long stand-off with Muslim Brotherhood supporters barricaded inside.
The confrontation at the mosque continued for most of Saturday - with exchanges of gunfire between protesters and security forces, who were cheered on by crowds outside.
The Brotherhood has called for daily demonstrations since a crackdown on its protest camps in Cairo on Wednesday left hundreds of people dead. Further clashes on Friday killed at least another 173 people across the country.

STORYLINE
An Egyptian court on Sunday said Muslim Brotherhood members conspired with Hamas, Hezbollah and local militants to storm a prison in 2011 and free 34 Brotherhood leaders, including the future President Mohammed Morsi.
The court statement read by Judge Khaled Mahgoub named two members of Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood - Ibrahim Haggag and Sayed Ayad - to be among the alleged conspirators in the attack on Wadi el-Natroun prison on 29 January, 2011.
Mahgoub said that it was clear from defence documents and testimony that there has been a plan to storm and free prisoners from the Egyptian jails during the Egyptian revolution.
The plan was executed by foreign groups who belong to Hamas, the Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Palestinian militia, the Islamic Army and Hezbollah, joined by some Egyptian terrorist groups, he said.
It is the first statement by a court that holds members of the three Islamist groups - the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, the Palestinian Hamas, and Lebanon's Hezbollah - responsible for a series of jailbreaks during the chaos of Egypt's 2011 uprising.
Named alongside President Morsi, were a number of key figures from those three groups and others who escaped prison in the same incident.
Ayman Nofal, a Hamas leader; Mohamed Mohamed al-Hady, a Hamas Leader; Hezbollah member, Sami Shehab, said Mahgoub.
He also named Ramzi Muafi, a man he described as the Amir of Al Qaeda in the Sinai Peninsula.
Two other prisons in which Hamas and Hezbollah members were held were also attacked, the court found.
The prison breaks took place during the 18-day popular uprising that toppled the 29-year regime of autocrat Hosni Mubarak.
Another consequence of the breakouts was the flood of some 23-thousand criminals who managed to sprawl out of prison onto the streets, fuelling a crime wave that continues to this day.
Among those who escaped were around 40 members of Hamas and Hezbollah as well as the 34 Brotherhood leaders.
The case began in January when a former inmate appealed a three-month sentence passed by a lower court that convicted him of escaping Wadi el-Natroun.

Judaics and Christians into Babylon
For a limited time see all of this Remnant Exodus Seminar for FREE!
Because Escape is Still Possible...
Judaics and Christians encountered historic events in the 2nd Century AD that catapulted them into Babylon, even though most people today are unaware of that situation.
Military and police organizations use the term: situational awareness. That simply means being aware of the entire situation so you can act accordingly to stay alive and even win in a conflict. Not knowing what is really happening can be deadly.
Bible Believers are engaged in a spiritual battle that spans many centuries. The situation we find ourselves in today was set up by events that happened long before we were even born. Knowing the facts about those historical events that impact our place in time gives us historical situational awareness - which is vital for us in these last days.
A case in point is this presentation, Into Babylon. This focuses on events of the second Century AD in the Roman Empire. These events were formative to both Judaism and Christianity as we know them. These events were momentous for both Judaics and Christians of that era, and for Messianics as well.
How does this effect us? Simple. These events actually launched both Judaism and Christianity into captivity to Babylon the Great, which captivity continues for millions. You may be such a captive and not even know it. If you are not among the captives then it is likely that a lot of people you care about are captives to Babylon.
All righteous people need to understand this situation today, because Scripture warns us about Babylon the Great;
“Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don’t receive of her plagues, for her sins have reached to the sky, and God has remembered her iniquities. Rev 18:4, 5
We need to know how God's people entered into Babylon to heed the Divine warning to get out, and to help others do the same! That's why knowledge of these events is so vital.
