“Tokyo Bon 2020” is a co-production with the largest influencer marketing company in Japan - Cool Japan TV. The Bon Odori dance is choreographed by the award winner Japanese traditional dancer - Ukon Takafuji.
The song combines Japan traditional music elements with Asia pop, giving the song dynamic energy that has never been heard before. The song also potrayes the unique and cute sound of Japanglish, the friendship beyond the border, and the love for Japanese cultures.
Bon Odori is a traditional Japanese dance that performed all over Japan with people holding hands together and dancing in a circle. The song contains a wish for world peace where people from different backgrounds hold hands together, and an invitation to the largest festival of peace - “Tokyo Olympics 2020”.

魚山大原寺勝林院は長和2年（1013年）円仁より数えて9代目弟子の寂源により法儀声明念仏三昧の根本道場として建立されました。
別名、問答寺とも証拠堂とも阿弥陀堂とも呼ばれています。
寂源により建立された本堂は数多の火災、洪水により破損し、修復再建されて来ました。
江戸時代初期、徳川家光の代に春日局の願によりお江の方、崇源院の菩提のために再建されたと言う縁起が高欄の擬宝珠に刻まれていますが、享保21年（1736年）正月の火災により焼失してしまいます。
現在のお堂は安永7年（1778年、徳川家治の頃）に再建され、縁起が刻まれた擬宝珠もこの時のものです。屋根は椹板で茸いた「柿茸」、柱、梁など軸組、床板等すべてが欅造りとなっています。
Gyozandaikenji Shorinin was built by Jakugen, the nineth generation disciple of Ennin as Konpon Dojo (the fundemental training center) FOR the ceremonial prayer to Amida Buddha in the 2nd year of the Chowa (1013).
It is also known as Mondodera, Shokodo, or Amidado.
The main temple built by Jakugen has been repaired and rebuilt after having been damaged by many fires and floods.
In the early Edo period when Iemitsu Tokugawa ruled the government, the origin of the temple was engraved on the ornamental top of balustrade reconstructed by the wish of Kasuganotsubone for Okonokata and the bodhi of Sugenin. Nevertheless, it WAS burned down in the New Year of the 21st year of the Kyoho (1736).
The hall is roofed with sawara cypress and the entire structure is constructed of Japanese zelkova treeS including the framework such as the floorboards, the beams, and the pillars.
The current hall was reconstructed in the 7th year of the Anei (1778, the period of Ieharu Tokugawa), so as the engraved ornamental railing top. ????

Kenshin Manila feature on Fuji TV
Some short excerpts I wanted to share from the Mezamashi TV feature on the Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto inferno Asian red carpet premiere here in Manila!
Minako-san interviewed us during one the press conference, and included here is the part where she remarks that I resemble Takeru Satoh. While I find myself unworthy of the compliment, I’m happy that my effort to portray his version of Kenshin is appreciated! It seems that a lot of people want to see this moment. Hahah! :;(∩´﹏`メ∩);: ハズカシイ･･･
Also shown here is Henyo's amazing Shishio cosplay. It impressed a lot of Japanese netizens!
I also threw in one of my favorite parts of the premiere: Takeru Satoh greeting the crowd in Tagalog! ^_^x
No English subs for now but maybe one of my interpreter friends would like to take up subbing the whole Kenshin Manila feature sometime!
